Long story short. Buyer’s wife was not happy this showed up in her house, and the husband buying it stretched their cash. Asked me to take it back. I guess I have a soft heart. Anyway, it’s back for sale…again.
I have a JTR with the Trailer-Tow Package.
ETA: I see my error. I guess the Sport S has an option specifically called "Max Tow" whereas the others are labeled "Trailer-Tow Package."
Great question. The trailer is a 16’ trailer. I’ve included a picture of it (prior to wheel/tire change). The load I was hauling in it today was maybe an additional 400 pounds over trailer weight. It was just too bulky for the truck bed.
I put 37’s on my JTR Max Tow about 2 months ago. My daily routes, IMO, did not indicate any necessity for re-gearing. The transmission still ran through its regular progressions, and I did not lose any gears. My change in fuel consumption has been minimal.

Yes, but you have to use Magnuson’s tune to get the warranty. That’s their rule on all their superchargers.
ETA: I think they might require that it be installed at by a certain qualified mechanic. Honestly, I'm not too sure about their warranty information. I knew I was going to install it...
Yeah. Just tired of it sitting in my garage. If I could get a potential timeline from HP Tuner on when support might be offered, I'd be more inclined to let it sit. As of now, I see no light at the end of the tunnel, and I'm not sure how high of a priority it is for HP Tuner to crack the newer ECM.
Just wanted to let everyone know I listed my supercharger and associated accessories for sale on the forum's marketplace. The site won't let me cross post it to the Forced Induction forums though.
I bought the supercharger BNIB from a local Jeep shop where the original buyer backed out. I installed the supercharger, and found out that Jeep started using new ECMs around August 2021, so I am unable to load the tune (there’s a thread in the forced induction board that follows my unfortunate...
Anyone have an inkling on when GPEC5 support might be available from HP Tuners? My supercharger is gathering dust, and I'm not one who hoards things. I might consider selling if there is no light at the end of the tunnel.
Removing that panel is part of the installation process of Amp Research’s power running boards. Instructions to remove it are found in their installation manual at step 12. I only know this because I did it last week. I hope this helps...
