I guess I’m the prepper. During a complete gut home remodel, we spent the coin on a whole home generator with transfer switch. So far the only action it has seen is when it self-powers up every other week for 5 minutes just to keep everything fresh.
I’ve also heard it mentioned that it sounds like a woodpecker knocking noise. I wouldn’t know. Ya know, since I have GPEC5 and had to pull the whole damn supercharger back off.
Bought it in October with the intention to supercharge, but I have the newer ECM, so I am out of luck for now. It’s a good truck. Just considering going a different route. About to hit 5k miles. Located in College Station.
I lived in Ewa Beach for many years. Yes, there are a lot of Jeep rentals, but they locals love Jeep and mid-size trucks. It’s very easy to tell which Jeeps aren’t rentals…unless Enterprise started giving each Jeep rental a giant Hawaii state flag to fly from its rear.
