edwardthev, maybe if you order it today, HP Tuners might have cracked that newer ECM by the time you get everything in your possession. In my current situation, I hope it happens a lot sooner than that.
The smaller pulley is available on the Magnuson website. Youāll need to purchase a smaller belt as well. Check out the below thread, and that will provide the information you need...
Nice. Donāt forget that air intake. If it comes back without the stock tune, I can send you a copy of mineā¦
Once it learns how to read the GPEC5. Pretty jealous to see you and Fonzie get your builds done and knowing youāll be ripping it up in a couple of days.
I think I paid like $140 for overnight shipping, but... I mailed it at like 5:30 pm, and I wanted guaranteed delivery for 8:30 the next morning. Guess I was just looking to add insult to injury.
Turn around time for me was like 2 weeks, but that's because I sent them a GPEC5, and they probably thought, "WTF are we supposed to do with this thing?" Once they offer support for it, I'll have to send it back. I definitely regret paying to overnight it the first time around.
A little extra fuel line seems fine to me. I don't remember having much of an issue there. Now, I could definitely go back and add some length to the PCV line that connects to the Clean Air Tube fitting. That one required quite a bit of tugging to get it connected.
Not a big deal, and no apology necessary. Only way you could have caught that hiccup was if you were there when I bought the Jeep, and if you stopped me from handing over the cash when I bought the supercharger. I appreciate all your help in figuring out why I couldn't get a read on the engine...
Probably going to pull the supercharger and go back to stock. I know it is a priority for HP Tuners to provide support for the new ECM, but I'm going to assume that that priority for them is not as high as it is for me. I work from home, but it is proving too much of an inconvenience to only...
I'm not running it. It's just been parked since I installed the supercharger. I don't want to remove everything, go back to stock, and then find out HP Tuners supports the new ECM a week later. Just patiently waiting for now.
You're in a bit of a conundrum. There are members of this forum with the Magnuson Supercharger with 25K+ issue-free miles, but they are NOT using the manufacturer's tune. Thus, you likely lose the manufacturer's warranty.
I've had my supercharger installed for about 2 weeks now, with zero...
I volunteered my ECM to HP Tuners as 'tribute,' you know, 'for the greater good.' I heard back from them, and they have been able to source some GPEC 5's, so it's a waiting game at this point.
No ETA. They havenāt gotten their hands on one yet. They have said it is a priority. Iām tempted to volunteer mine, and if they ābrickā it, they can just send me a new one when they finally get them in.
