There should be a law that manufacturers have to provide replacement parts by x amount of days if it's currently in production. I don't understand how they can pump these vehicles out off the assembly line and then turn around and say sorry, turbo is on backorder, or your shocks to fix your...
They used to be very popular on older jeeps for tire clearance, but now that these JT/JLs can fit 35s no problem there isn't really a need. In addition to a lift which most are going to do anyway, there really isn't a need at all outside of aesthetics.
I'm about to just order that one and cancel my order from Quadratec. I ordered 4/8 and the Mopar one is still on backorder. The reason I didn't order a knock-off, to begin with, is that I couldn't find one with rounded corners, but that one fits the bill.
Make sure you get a number from the clowns when they call. The people calling are a 3rd party that Jeep pays to deal with these buy-back matters. Jeep has no way of contacting these people other than leaving notes on an internal system if you miss their call. I missed their call and they left a...
I used rainx one time and it has ruined my system completely. It leaves a film in the tank which has made your sensor either stuck or covered in film. It has clogged my lines and spray nozzles. I have tried distilled water and compressed air about 5 times now and it's good for about a day before...
Tempting, but I'll wait to see some reviews. My stock spray nozzles have never been the same after I put some rain-x in it one time. I ran distilled water through it and even blew it out with compressed air and the spray barely reaches the wipers at the bottom and that is parked. The rain-x left...
Yeah, but that is a significant cost especially out of pocket after the warranty period. I would rather just replace a pump for about $1K vs also having to buy about $3K worth of injectors and fuel rails on top of it.
Just rolled over 10K miles this weekend. The only issue I had so far was a leaking DEF injector replaced under warranty and took about 10 days for the part to come in. It wasn't throwing any codes. I found it after noticing smoke on the passenger side when I got out and left it running. Not sure...
Glitch, You can toggle back and forth between one showing the MPG arc and also shows range, and one that has the arc and doesn't display range. When working properly it displays both range and current MPG. The dots at the bottom of the menu indicating different pages appear to stop moving as well.
I have no tazer and it bugs out for me. For those without a Tazer I had good luck both times getting it back just resetting the to the default options in the cluster. Both times it has come back within about 30min and 2-3 restarts. Reset it turn it off, on, then off, and let it sit. Come back in...
Just so I'm clear - you used these springs below, right? Asking as I see they only advertise 1/2 inch of lift when using them on the diesel, but you are reporting much more which is consistent with their original application to level a gas JL. I'm waiting on the parts to get to the dealer for...
For the tonneau cover, I would think long and hard about how you anticipate using your bed.
If you think you are going to be hauling around a bunch of taller objects all the time and still want some visibility I would avoid the tri-fold options since they completely block the rear window when...
Finally got the dealer to push my Jeep through for the TSB. Shocks are on back order and they’re estimating at least a month.
I have a local speed bump I used with the tech so I can document the before and after. Most likely will pair with the Clayton springs for a true fix and will also test...
If you don't have steps rokblokz are must to stop rocks from pelting the side of your truck. Best $80 spent so far. I will be getting the front wrapped in PPF soon.
I'm local to the area. If you are looking for good places to eat try Lobster House, Two Mile, Lucky Bones, Alfies, C View, Westside Saloon (small bar but amazing food), Mudhen. Beach Creek is right next to Boat House and way better (it's the same owners and they also own Uries next to that in...
You also get the flip-down armrest in the backseat as well. I never sit in the back seat, but I leave mine down just for the extra drink holders. Easier to access from the front seat.
Also, make sure you see it in person before going down this rabbit hole. It's not as in your face as you think...
