The big "push" for EV makes no sense to me when they are giving you up to a $7500 tax credit for purchasing an EV of some sort. Catch is that you can only claim up to your tax liability and you can only claim it for 1 tax cycle. Unlike solar on your house you get whatever the current tax credit...
Not sure where I saw it, I'll post it when I can find it, but a guy pulled an open trailer with his track car on it with a Hyundai Santa Cruz and he had to stop every 100 miles to charge.
My guess is that it comes from the block to the exchanger to the EGR. I say this because doesn't the EGR see insane temps? If so the exchanger would heat up oil if it hit the EGR first.
I'm picking my JTRD up from Kent in Boise in 2 weeks. I use the EDT in my wife's JL but since we are flying up I can't take any with me. Who (AutoZone, advance, etc) carries a comparable product on the shelf that I can pick up when we get there?
Which wiring are you talking about? If that gets me more head room on temps I'll move whatever I have to. I'm actually glad you tried WW and you noticed a difference. I have some in my Amazon cart now. We're going on a 12 day trip through California in October and I want all the piece of mind I...
I'm starting to think I stated it backwards before. I initially thought that the rear port was feed, but after install and grabbing the lines the front port is way hotter than the rear port. So I'm pretty sure the front is feed. On my JT I'm considering adding a can style filter mount in line so...
First picture at 11:42 is at the beginning of the long 6% and the second picture at 11:53 is at the top. Didn't get one when we crested but it dropped back down into the teens pretty quickly.
Short version is that I am extremely happy with how everything performed. With the fan OFF my oil temp was usually 10*-15* higher than the coolant temp. With the fan ON my oil temp was at or below the coolant temp. Driving on regular roads (flat with normal ups and downs, etc) the oil and...
First off sorry it's a JLU. I won't have my JTRD for a couple weeks. :mad:It just landed in SLC and is on its way to Kent at Peterson. About to head out for the weekend and put the new cooler to the test. For the guys in Arizona we are heading up to Woods Canyon Lake. It's about 120 miles one...
Which I haven't done yet. But I did just order a set of the coolant line clamp plier things so I can play around with it without actually having to remove the coolant line.
So far very pleased and excited. Unfortunately ambient was only 93-95 and not 105+ like we normally see. I still have the factory heat exchanger hooked up.
I hope these upload in the correct order. If not just look at the time on the radio.
1st pic - driving thru neighborhood at 32mph with...
