  1. What did you do WITH your Gladiator today?

Well what I doing with my Gladiator today. . . Gotta take to shop due to hail damage from storm. Hoods covered with dents everywhere not covered by solar panel. Followed with my Wrangler and few other things. Yesterday, washed, tires rotation and insurance company visit. For about mentioned events.
  2. What did you do WITH your Gladiator today?

I've known of a few who did that stuff, definitely something I wasn't going to get involved with. Saw a few go down for it.
  3. What did you do WITH your Gladiator today?

Yesterday drove to trail with dog for a walk then home, tried to "talk dog into going back for second time with 4 wheeler to help her burn off energy. She was not interested. So 4 wheeler already loaded up for today's trip. I "remembered why one set of my boots were hardly ever worn" heel...
  4. What did you do WITH your Gladiator today?

Yeah, I've installed at least a half dozen in driveways. When I had a garage it was to damn small to have installed a lift kit in it. My XJ about wouldn't fit before a lift kit after I had tools in it. When I was deployed I could barely fit my 05 Wrangler Unlimited in it. I rolled it in...
  5. What Did you, Or Are You Cooking Today?

A over priced undrilled disk blade for a plow. :giggle: Oh dang I posted before reading everyone else posts on them. Yeah it was the gotta have thing of 2020 overlander's. If wasn't working to many hours during it I'd have bought every disk blade at T.S. and fired up my welder. I could...
  6. Let’s see your pets cause they are the best companion you can have!!!!!

Well last week I drove up to get my new addition.. she's 1 year old in a few days. In some ways it's better that I waited, she's been around multiple other dogs and people so she use to being around both. But a surprise part of being very timid about cats. It didn't help right after driving...
  7. Any tricks for keeping new shocks compressed for install?

Problem solved already, the ratchet strap technique is useful for several problems. On really flexible suspensions also when changing a tire or other like things.
  8. Remove Hood Bracket Bolts

To second or third others post is not sticking over 35 pounds on the hood with a few small bolt in aluminum hood. Years ago I thought I'd mount one of mine on the hood then thinking about what could happen changed my mind. On my XJ it's on the spare tire rack, on Wrangler it on rear roll bar...
  9. new to the forum

Your good keep doing what you are. Some need to lighten. Good for different outlook and younger generations. I can be a grumpy old guy with not tact and blunt. But a positive outlook is good.
  10. What’s With The Jeep Wave?

I wave at about everyone, if it's a Jeep heck I even just wave. Easy to see how many distracted people who should be driving not texting or whatever else. Jeep model doesn't matter to me hell I've got 5 Jeeps, TJ UNLIMITED, XJ's, Comanche "MJ" and my JT. Years ago the CJ drivers snubbed anyone...
  11. What did you do WITH your Gladiator today?

Dang sad to see a Bronco get stuck on a speed bump like that. :giggle:
  12. Reduckulous!

    Out ducking standing.
  13. Parking at home on an incline

FYI I like the color. :like:
  15. Fun with Numbers

Double line pull puts less stress on equipment and less electrical load also. Yeah my JT has a 12K but it's definitely not 12K on top wrap of line. A second on rushing in recovery leads to mistakes, possibly injuries /death and more damage.
  16. Should I go to 4.56 gears for towing?

I'll be #3 on recommending Dana / Spicer for brand. With 33/10.5r17 on my 2020 with Max-Tow I spend a lot of time in 7th gear. I tow various trailers with the 33's,. My 05 Wrangler Unlimited tow better in many areas. No chance I'd re-gear from 4:10 to 4:56 not enough of a change from the $$$...
  17. Rattle

Well I guess you're welcome, sometimes just venting helps. :like:
  18. W.T.F.D.I.G.M.I - Turning my daily drive into a trail rig.

FYI Great job on the printing too.
  19. W.T.F.D.I.G.M.I - Turning my daily drive into a trail rig.

Ripping out the OEM seats probably saved you more pounds than the cage that's in it now. :like: Heck of a job there. So how beat was the stock axles. 🤔
  20. Spare tire mount

You might check the JL backup camera.
