I wanted a Warfab, but this was kind of a late purchase before Moab and they had a month lead time. Picked up a Body Armor for the same price and already painted. Threw on an anti-rattle and it’s solid. Nice step too.
Happy to report the dealership replaced the damaged draglink end no problem. They had to order it, but got it next day and returned the Jeep to me at the end of the day. Alignment included. Part number for drag link end at pitman arm for those interested #68258760AE
Just remembered I had one more box of parts in the garage. Installed the RH4x4 front/rear lower control arm skids and rear shock skids. Install was easy and straight forward.
I had the TSB done on 03/16, everything seems good so far. However, I crawled under the Jeep today and noticed the grease boot on the drag link is torn. I can only Assume it was while they were working on it. Just hit 8000 miles, no off-road yet. Is it worth going back to the dealership and...
+ or - # is the offset that the wheel has. The larger the number (+) the less it sticks out. Wheels with a negative offset will stick out past the fender flares more. Stock Rubicon wheels are 7.5" wide and have a +44 offset, so they stay tucked in.
9.5 for width is just fine. The -18 he...
In my old truck I use a HF moving blanket and a ratchet strap around the lower seat tube anchored to the cab side of the bed. I actually had someone pull out in front of me, and I t-boned them while carrying my bike like that. Bike didn’t budge. I’ve since upgraded bikes and to a 1UP rack, but...
You could maybe get a hitch skid to protect the receiver, but the bumper may still drag. When possible, while descending a ledge or hill take it at an angle instead of straight on. You're gonna have to embrace the big booty of the Gladiator.
Working on a road trip for next month, so I finally got a round to mounting the Smittybilt XL RTT. Ran to the steel yard to get some flat bar to make mounts since I’d been using round cross bars on the 4R.
Hangs over the rear a little bit, but not as bad as I’d expected. I like the lower height...
1UP roof rack on the crossbars, and a double rack in the hitch. I wish I was able to lower the tailgate with the single rack folded up. but it rests on the "JEEP". I fold it down every time I need access to the bed because it doesn't fit in the garage with the rack down.
