1UP makes a solid rack, and allows the tailgate to be opened when tilted down with bikes on it. Crossbars worked great for the roof rack as well.

You could maybe get a hitch skid to protect the receiver, but the bumper may still drag. When possible, while descending a ledge or hill take it at an angle instead of straight on. You're gonna have to embrace the big booty of the Gladiator.

1UP roof rack on the crossbars, and a double rack in the hitch. I wish I was able to lower the tailgate with the single rack folded up. but it rests on the "JEEP". I fold it down every time I need access to the bed because it doesn't fit in the garage with the rack down.

Now that the rear bumper is on, I’ve got most everything complete on the Jeep.

I'd love one that had the 2" square cut out, so I could slide a receiver into the hitch still. More so, so I could use my bike rack and have the skid.

It took 3 months to get mine in, had it installed this week. Dropped it off at 9am, picked it up at 5pm.
