Yup, that bed sold on me.
He seems to go for the big three only. There just aren't enough wrecked JTs yet to bring the prices down to where he's interested. I do have a request in with him but so far nothing.
I've been seriously considering the one in Maine, only because it's a state I've never visited and my Wife loves checking out new food places.
Junkyards in my area can't afford to buy newer stuff. They only get older junkers, and never Jeeps. I'm not sure why
I feel the same way, There's a few junkyards out there. everyone wants something near $2k or more for a completely stripped bed. that's before shipping! Considering I can get any other brand bed for under $1000 this disparity seems ridiculous. I know of two beds under $1K but I have to go to...
Not sure which forum this belongs in, But I'm trying to figure out what is reasonable price for a used Bed would be. I've found them ranging from $800 all the way up to $5K for "almost new" Of course none are near me so I've got to pay shipping or make a very long drive. Whats reasonable for...
When it comes to rifles and pistols you're spot on, but once you move into automatics, you blow em out, oil her up, wipe the excess off, and run a single patch down the barrel. More than that and your baby gonna be very cranky till she's dirty again!
I must have discovered them right when they got their act together. I lifted my XJ in 2006 and I still have it. 4.5" lift with the HD trackbar. Used their rock rails and stinger bumper too. That XJ has taken a beating. It's also the most reliable vehicle I've ever owned. It spoiled me, making...
I was shocked too. Maybe it was because it was a rental and everybody abused it or if it's some sort of short range version for rentals or what, it was very frustrating. The lack of Tesla compatible chargers was also not fun.
I don't know about other people, but I like finding little known companies that make insanely good products that nobody else seems to know about. I almost always skip the first page of google results to find the companies that don't pay to be at the top.
I was into Rusty's Offroad early and had...
I rented a Tesla for a week. I found it very annoying to have to to sit for 40 minutes to go from 10% power to 95%. An hour's drive at 70 mph drained it from 75% battery down to just 20%. Really felt like I was handcuffed. To top it off, Tesla chargers were a little hard to find. All around...
I went with the CMM mirrors. Rock solid and the mirrors have no shake. Stupid spendy though at $300. Make sure to get them while they are running a sale and include the bag for them. (Takes the edge off the price just a little)
Mine seems to LOVE 4th gear, It will stay in 4th into 60 mph if there is anything near an uphill or headwind. I did go to 35s with stock gears, and did tazer to adjust tire size. I wonder if it forgot the new settings after a while?
I have to fight myself on judging people's rigs. LOL. If it's stupid...... it's stupid.
But I'm really trying hard to be a good Christian (think kindergartener trying to play Mozart here) so I spend the rest of the day kicking myself for being judgmental.....
My biggest challenges are...
I did the same thing with my KC Titans. ended up just going back to a 3 way switch since the whites overrode the amber.
test it out on the bench first, he may decide its not worth the hassle. You can also find controllers that have 3 way switches built in
It would seem to me that the hurricane ($10,985) is much more expensive and complicated motor than the venerable 5.7 Hemi ($7,495) People are tired of insane vehicle prices and with the less complicated V-8 it's a perfect way to lower prices and give people back the V-8. No brainer decision in...
