First lazy habit drivers pick up... stop squaring corners as required by every driving law and school in the county and the second is rolling "stops". Almost saw a pedestrian taken out by a car rolling through a "stop" yesterday.
I like everything about my Overland but if I did bag it, I would avoid Black even though I like it and I'd probably pony up for the diesel. I am happy with my mods.
1 Year later... 10A steel bumper and winch, ARE top, skid protectors behind the rear wheels, level kit, rear spring air bags, 295/70 tires and a couple of off road lights.
My dealership usually says that obviously things not OEM are not covered. They will also explain that if you can point to the modification as the cause of another OEM component failure then they won't cover it. I don't disagree with the premise. But yes, if they don't want to do the work they...
A lot of used ones are popping up now. I think much of it because leases are expiring on 2020s for sure. It is also tied to gas prices. When gas spikes occur, you will see gas guzzers get dumped. Since gas prices are cyclic most of time people are making an economic mistake losing thousands...
I am thinking is a code similar to the silver they use to do the accent pieces on the Overland. I have not been able to confirm that color. All I get for reference is the exterior paint codes.
So, I got a great deal on an original Jeep OEM Rubicon 10A bumper. It mounted to my JT Overland perfectly, fit nicely.
I have been researching front steel skids.

And vice versa, if I get a stock steel...
Older station wagons from different companies had roll down rear windows so I don't think a patent would stop application. I think it is related to weight and manufacturing. Weight - while it doesn't seem like much you would add weight for the fixed window guide structure and motor(s)...
When I re-geared my JK the shop told me to not spend the money unless you do a 1+ ratio change... in my case I went from the dog 3.23s to 4.10 with 33s. That really woke the engine up some. Going to 5.13 is probably going to make a real difference on 37s.
Dealers are not actually crazy for doing these markups... If there is a demand why not. Look at the inflated 'market adjustments' on all this overblown off road adventure vehicle stuff.
I had a 2016 Colorado 4wd before the 2020 Gladiator. With the six speed it was a good truck. I might still have it if it had a sunroof and the safety stuff you can get on the JT. But I am Jeep guy. My daughter has a 2016 Collie 2wd. My wife and I drove it cross country and averaged about...
