This is why I'd love the option to buy a single solid door option (from whichever matches our glass door) as an after purchase option. I'd happily pay for it, and would then allow a drill through for mounts. Following.....
Whenever I get in a vehicle that doesn't have it and I'm using cruise, it takes a moment before before my brain goes, "gee, shouldn't it have backed off by now?" before I realize what's going on.
I've consistently had a small trickle of water from the front (cab edge). Nothing to be upset about, but would like if I could solve. I believe it's from the thinner supplied gasket material used to "fill in" the slightly depressed area between the rails. For unrelated reasons my RTT is off the...
As I was loading my wheels in the bed just last night in preparation of taking off my winter wheels, i noticed a funky wear pattern myself.....very timely and exactly what I was wondering but hadn't had a chance to check it out. Thanks!
They've been great so far. Already been through a few dense fog mornings, a few thick mist mornings, and numerous intense snowfall drives and I've been pleased. Waiting for one of those heavy wet falls where normal headlights are useless (blinding, actually) to put my final question to rest.
Do...
Yeah, the "skid plate" moniker leaves a little to be desired (especially considering the sloped and fairly beefy one that you remove to install this one). The trail will tell.
Borrowed some shop space from a buddy (tired of laying in the snow to get simple projects done). Installed Oracle's Lighting skid plate. Installation was mostly painless and wired it to run off AUX 4. Happy so far. Driving pic is with headlights off, skid plate light only.
It only took 8 months, but finally getting it replaced next week. Good news, after i filled the crack with some of the cheap RainX "repair" it didn't spread on me while I was waiting. Have some on hand for any future cracks.
Well @Jaxmax, loved your idea on swapping the side hinge for a rear hinge while waiting on replacement parts from RSI (they are in the mail, thanks @RSI), but just for anyone else this may happen to, let me save you 15 minutes. The side and rear hinges are surprisingly NOT interchangeable...at...
good idea about stealing the side windows in the meantime....haven't had a chance to look at options yet. This work thing really gets in the way..... ;)
@RSI North America Inc ... any known issues with the window/gate hinge pins? Went to toss some items in the bed this morning and the rear gate window hinge sheared off. Had a heck of a time getting window closed with the pressure from the other piston. Been on the truck a little over a year...
Wish I had seen this thread myself. I have heard the sound a time or two, but weirdly it seemed only at the start of my morning driving (down a steep drive, then a few frequent quick turns)...first time I heard it thought I had forgotten a half filled water jug someplace. Knew people had been...
My dad has been thinking about lowered springs/smaller tires for his Jeep....really trying to push him towards and engineered auto-lowering step. There are some nice options out there, with a wide range of $$.
