Been working great. Just about the only thing I would change would be going with the wedge style. Originally bought thinking Id want/need the extra room. Turns out don't need that much. With the tent up high over the cab of the Jeep, I need to climb on the roof to pull the front down correctly...
Thanks for responding. What I understand you saying is that there is nothing in the design that would prevent it from working, correct?
I understand there isn't a current pathway through you to make that happen....
Are doors interchangeable between the Sport version and the Adventure Series? Would love to swap one of my glass Sport side doors for a solid EVOA door so I could add traction board mounts (driver side would be perfect as you don't see much through that one anyway.....)
Diesel heater works great! Keeps me warm and dry (no condensation inside the tent) through all sorts of Alaskan weather. That was version one of my "diesel heater in a box"..working on v2 now. For bedding, it depends on the forecast but still stays simple since the diesel heater does the heavy...
Not my cup of tea, but good on you for being a sport and putting it on. "Happy Wife" and all that.
I'm curious how the view would be through the rear view? May be a good reason to say "thanks, hon- but the designers sure didn't think about visibility"....that way it's harder for her to take...
Any particular connection to get those replacement gaskets? I've got the same issue and I don't even live in a hot environment (HOT is ~70 F). Ive reached out but not sure it actually reached anyone.
Pulling up an older thread.
First for me today. Its been raining a lot for a few days (typical for my region, not much more/harder than normal) and this morning when I turned my first corner of the day I caught sight of a small stream of drops hitting just above the center controls. Couldn't...
Spent the day tidying up a bunch of projects that had been half completed. Did a full wash and wax. Installed the fender tubing to block little rocks from getting caught in the fender panels. Properly ran wiring for Oracle integrated backup lights (decided to run off switch instead of full time...
Normally I'm a design guy that would recommend limiting the number of fonts being used, HOWEVER I think the custom one is complimentary to the design and respects the original. I say use the custom UNLESS you plan on removing the "gladiator" under the jeep brand (maybe too much in that quarter...
Well, I've been traveling and just got back to my pile of boxes with lights and PnP harness awaiting. After reading of some of the issues, that seals my decision to wire direct to AUX switches and forgo the auto on in reverse (which, if the lights are as bright as they seem, may be good to not...
