As far as wheel size pay attention to backspacing. Somebody will chime in on what you need. I’d tell ya but I’m an old hillbilly that can’t remember....
I’m not sure if the 35’s will fit without a leveling kit. On my sport s max tow I did a BDS leveling kit which is taller springs in the front. My tires are supposed to be 34.6 tall but really are 34, I had to trim the air dams and would still rub a bit! I changed bumpers and air dams are gone...
I
f memory serves me correct his dash went nuts because of something he didn’t hook up at the right time or something like that! I used the redarc without any issues! And have used it to pull my trailer. But no real weight!
Correct me if I’m wrong..... seems like I read somewhere that there’s a tow haul setting on the gladiator. I have looked but haven’t found it anywhere! Am I just getting completely senile? I have towed a couple times first time was my 18’ trailer with a small riding mower, second time was a 24’...
This is exactly what I did! Wxman did an awesome job of explaining what you have to do! While I’m old enough to remember there wasn’t a factory made/ installed controller I’m also old enough to know that when the manufacturers say best in towing yada yada yada they include one! My Ram had it...
Cargo management package is another one I know about. You can get the rails but not the wiring harness and outlet plug in the bed... mine didn’t have this package and dealer said no problem but when I get back to pick it up we found out all that comes with it is the rails! So basically I got the...
While I’m not disagreeing with any of the previous comments, I have to ask what do you have planned to do with this Jeep? Are you going to be doing serious off-roading? Just taking on easy trails? Or is it going to be a DD and rarely off road? Maybe a family camp out? That’ll be what tells you...
I ran into this a couple years ago on my Ram. The local glass shops basically said the same thing about having to buy the whole 900.00 rear window. I ended up finding a guy online out of Michigan that sent me the piece for the middle, for under 150 including shipping! I’ll try to find his info...
Mine is max tow with 315/70/17. I have yet to tow any weight with it, 18’ trailer and a riding lawnmower doesn’t count. I went with BDS leveling kit and like was mentioned the “air dam” things had to be trimmed. I have since changed the front bumper so they’re gone now! The 4:10 gears do just...
I’ve used CO2 in the past. What I did was a tank that I could take out, it came with a bracket that held it in place. To refill I’d take it to a paintball place. As far as size it was big enough to fill between four and five sets of 35s. A couple of us would air down to 5psi. Something to think...
From what I saw and was told when the elocker was engaged one side wasn’t locked all the way by design and that’s why it broke. Might be different with today’s lockers though. It’s been 10 or so years ago that I’m talking about. And like I said the Rubicon didn’t have any issues at all..
