Yup, we mentioned that in some earlier discussions. I'd figure on the Dakota being available in more base trims than the JT, with the JT fulfilling the higher end midsize truck role for that chassis.
I don't think the Pentastar is a bad motor, quite the opposite. But a 3.6L V6 in a vehicle the size of the modern 4 door Wrangler, or even heaven forbid a 1500 is woefully undersized.
I traded my 300+ horsepower 5.3L GM 1500 back in on an older LBZ Duramax simply because I can't stand the utter...

I hope they're meaning a full power retractable rear window that slides into a compartment behind the rear seat and then the hard top can be removed sans window. But sliding is just an odd way of putting it. To me a sliding rear window is generally the traditional "beer window." So I don't know...
Everything about those renderings is wrong based on what we know lol. That just looks like a long JLU, the bed isn't even separate from the tub, and is way too short.
