  1. AEV 370 JTRD

OVS Awning added. Had bought this for my Ram and it didnt get much use. It is pretty big and throws a lot of shade. You can use it without legs as long as it isn't too windy. There are two legs that drop down and you can anchor it if needed. These are budget free standing awnings. As always you...
  2. AEV 370 JTRD

Hood lifts - why on earth dont Jeeps have these! Took 20 mins to install these. They even have a flush bolt for the diesel specific bracket that would interfere with the arm when closing. All the years with the jk putting up the arm and then seeing how nice these lift struts are. Well worth the...
  3. AEV 370 JTRD

Finally got all the pieces together and installed an ARB Twin compressor under the rear seat. Shout out to Jeremy @813 Fabrication & Design . Great customer service and a great product. The set up has a coupling on each side of the bin and I added one in the rear bumper. The rear was overkill...
  4. New canopy camper

Having the bed fully over the cab isa big help. We built a pop up full size transit. You had to move a part of the bed every time you wanted more standing space in the van (it was a low roof). The small bed of the JT would be usable with the bed still fully in place. Most of all the others...
  5. New canopy camper

Having the decked plus the camper could give some nice storage. Or even building a subfloor with storage beneath, water, etc. Some clever designs coming out for sure.

Going to wait for the JL chop to come out :CWL:
  13. New canopy camper

I like these full pop up rather than a wedge. The layout is nice esepecilay if you need somewhere to ride out a storm. Would be nice to be able to sit down at a small table. Of course once you put all your gear in there it is going to be crowded!
  14. New canopy camper

This was on Expedition Portal today. Looks like a nice set up. Similar pricing to others in the market, maybe a bit more. Would be good if you had small kids. https://roverking.ca/midsize-offroad-truck-camper/ https://expeditionportal.com/featured-truck-canopy-camper-roverking/

  16. Which wheel brand would you choose?

I also recently learned brodozer was a term thrown around for those giant lift trucks with polished wheels.
  17. Ecodiesel Derating issue tracking thread - also please post if NO issues!

Just over 1k miles so still early for me. No issues and am waiting to tow until the motor has some miles on it. Also need to remove the giant AEV lights in the grill
  18. Ecodiesel Derating issue tracking thread - also please post if NO issues!

Hello, @Zybane created an informative poll/tracker that helps frame the eco diesel experience. PMd with him and came up with this sister poll on derating. Have you experienced, or not experienced, derating when towing, not towing or if you installed an oil cooler? Thought this was a good...
  19. Introduction and towing question.

Hey Dave, Thats a busy dash! There is a Bluetooth module on amazon with an app for extra gauges. Trying to figure that one out - just got it yesterday. Someone on the forum also sells a dashboard that might be better. To your point going to learn to use it first before upgrading. I lurk a lot...
