Had the AEV 3.5. Not too firm, but noticeably different than the bilsteins that came off. A friend has a JL with the adjustable shocks and it is a better ride, but he also has a teraflex lift so hard to tell. Haha, agree, had a Miata in college - put some koni adjustable on, turned it to firm...
The Crusher does have a nice look to it. Good protection too.
Had Falcon's on my JK. Early set and weren't adjustable. They were very good, but would have been good to dial it back a bit on the street. Even nicer now with the switch in cab.
Always seems to be the guys in the Cherokees, lol. Has a similar situation above Lone Pine and it took 3 of us to keep him from going over the edge, but in fairness the Cherokee was pulling out the old yj that should not have been up there at all. Good video and putting that new lift to work...
Very cool. The aev build will have a set of lights and light bar up front. Not sure if they wore them into the aux lights or separate switch. Planning to add some ditch lights and diffused lighting for camping so I am sure I will run out of switches quickly. Had the arb twin on my JK and looking...
Clean install! There does seem like a lot to sort out around functionality. Have watched a few install videos and some of the arb videos plus the instructions. The effort looks worth the functionality
Death Valley is one of my favorite places. Just as @Rummie said these cabins are well known and hard to be first in line to get if you are going on a weekend. Other very interesting mills and areas to explore all over. If you can make the trip out it is worth the time and effort.
Agree, not too much real world info on the Linx set up. Planning to use it to control a separate lithium and lighting while camping, air bags, air up/down, and some additional drive lighting if needed.
Looks great! Waiting on my sarge green JTRD to come in. Should be in a few weeks.
Intertested to hear your thoughts on the ARB Linx when you get it installed. On my short list for all the reasons you mentioned.
Big thumbs up to @Diode Dynamics for follow up! Checked on my backorder and they gave a couple options. Really don't see that much effort any more and particularly via a comment on a forum. Really good service!
Wil do! Have been buying a few things to get ready. Got the rampage mirrors - small so not sure how they will work - were open box / return on amazon for $20 so low risk. Got the Redarc brake controller. Had it on my JK and was awesome. eTrailer has the adapters to plug and play and makes it...
Congrats @ADVTIMES awesome ride! My JTRD will be here soon as well. Will keep an eye on your mods. Planning to tow a Lance 1685 occasionally but its a little lighter than your rig. Will see how these diesels handle it.
Plug for Martin M at Dan Cummins in GA. Went with them for an JTRD AEV build - they are an AEV dealer. So far so good. Ordered 12/22 and build is essentially done this week minus bed liner waiting for spray. 4.5% below invoice with the TL letter. They are also shipping and doing registration for...
Thanks John @Diode Dynamics
I did talk with them and they didn't have an ETA.
Will try again end of week. Willing to wait and appreciate the vendor engagement!
@Diode Dynamics anxiously awaiting my SS3s and SS2s ordered on Black Friday. Called in last week and still no ETA. When will these lights be arriving? Over two months is a looonnngg time to wait.
Well, I ordered the Adventure cap on 1/4 from Northridge expecting a month or two delay.
Freight company is delivering this Wednesday. Barely 2 weeks to the door. Timing.
My JT probably won't get here until March so it will get stored until closer to delivery.
