if the $55k was a buy figure take it and run. Mods add almost nothing on resale, I sold My 2021 with 22k miles 2 months ago for $50k and was glad to get that after it sat awhile. Here’s one in MD with 23k miles for $46k...
Durango is up because there were none made last year due to supply issues, so none to sell. This year they had them, and rental agencies bought them up.
A High Tide will be @55k. Add $4k for tax and tags and you’re at $59k. That’s $980 for 60 at 0%. If you did the math you should have known about what the payment was. What were you expecting on $60k?
Find a SC one local to you if you can and drive it, then decide. I’d say 50% of the people that do a SC looking for 392 power for cheap end up doing a 392 swap after all.
My Magnuson was @$9500 all in. The 392 swap will run at least $40k because there is some suspension work that. should be done as well, and you need the Rubicon transfer case if you are doing it to any other trim. I agree it's not cheap, but neither is $9500 for 0 gain.
To get back on subject...
I had one and put 22k miles on with 0 issues. My problem was it really didn’t feel like it changed the truck enough to justify the spend. It was a waste of money to me. I have a 392 swapped in now, should have just done that from the start.
I had the bulletpoint and the cables dangling drove me nuts. I bought this

and a 10 inch cable, works perfect. Takes 2 mins to install.
All mopar parts put together a conversion kit with all of the stuff to put a Mojave hood on other models. It’s the easy button.
