That wouldn’t be enough to hurt anything. I tow all the time. More than that and for a lot further. Ironically, I started after my rearend failed. I do wonder if you had a bad axle seal, which is common, and it ran low.
Warranty covering it?
It doesn’t do that. I can’t even feel mine coming out of the vents unless it’s really hot or really cold, but it’s smart enough not to blast hot air on your when it’s hot or vice versa. It’s a great system if you let it work. I leave mine in auto 100% of the time and I’m always comfortable. 68...
That’s awesome. My mom is the same way. She’ll be 75 this year. She’s supposed to be retired but she still substitute teaches almost every day, does lots of volunteer work, is a member of like three social clubs that she’s active with. On top of that, she either goes on long walks rides her bike...
Not common at all since after they first came out. I have an early gladiator and I was unfortunate to have one with an early failure, but they swapped out the entire assembly and sent it to Dana to see where it failed. I didn’t care, it allowed them to fix it faster and I didn’t have to rely on...
I wouldn’t do that. I’d check your suspension to make sure everything is functioning properly and rebuild your shocks. You’d either be spending a pile of money to do it right, or be downgrading to a lower end shock design.
Heat kills batteries more than cold though. When I lived in CO, my Audis with the battery in the trunk, so no underhood heat, lasted 8 yr before I replaced it and it was still testing ok.
I disagree on the tires being the loudest. I can’t hear my tires, but mine has alway been loud above 65. Lots of wind noise and it’s been like that since brand new. Factory hard top, but I can’t tell much of a difference in wind noise with the soft tops I’ve driven. Just in outside noises like...
A more efficient aftermarket speaker can play a little louder. I’m not sure if the sensitivity difference between the two, but it’s definitely possible.
I think maybe the early batteries lasted longer. My 2020’s batteries lasted 5.5 yrs and I let it sit for weeks at a time in the summer months. Several days at a time in winter. I have three battery tenders, but I’ve never used one on it.
Really? Mine never comes out of auto and it’s always comfortable. I rarely even adjust the temp. If I do, it’s a degree or two.
The only time I really mess with it is in summer when it’s really hot. I’ll put it on low when it’s 95 degrees and I’m stuck in traffic and the heat is radiating. The...
I do feel for some of you northern guys. Mine is 6 yrs old and the only rust I have noticed is on some of the suspension bolts. I did actually clean a few bolts up when I changed the shocks out. It was just surface rust. A wire wheel and some wd-40 and they looked 90% better
