  1. What’s the ONE piece of advice you’d give to a new Gladiator owner?

I intentionally bought mine with everything I wanted on my old truck or added it layer. When I first got my Jeep, I changed out the tiny all season tires because the dealership wanted too much to do it and keep the stock tires. I sold them for $500. I wasn’t happy with the ride and handling so I...
  2. Battery tender hookup to 7pin hitch plug

I have three of them and use them often. It’s not good for the charger, but I haven’t cooked one yet. It should be avoided if possible though
  3. Steering wheel locked while driving 😱

They don’t lock. You lose power assist and it’s difficult to turn and people panic.
  4. 3Wliners Floor Mats Review vs. factory floor mats (in 23JTR)

You guys buying your gladiators used with no factory floor liners?
  5. 2028 Ram Dakota & Dakota SRT pickup confirmed for US / North America

Zero chance. No one would buy it. It would get blasted in reviews, but no one would look past it because it’s not a Jeep with removable top and doors and the look/perceived lifestyle image.
  6. 3Wliners Floor Mats Review vs. factory floor mats (in 23JTR)

Hah. They look like my old JKU Rubicon floor liners. Not sure if that was intentional.
  7. 2022 AEV Gladiator Rubicon build

We are both talking with personal preferences and uses. I don’t like daily driving a full sized truck. A RHO/TRX would be even worse for parking with those wide fenders. Plus a 392 Wrangler is just cool and as much as I do like his Gladiator, it’ll never sound like a 392. Nor will the hurricane...
  8. 2022 AEV Gladiator Rubicon build

    I’d still get the 392 Wrangler. šŸ˜‚
  9. 392 Gladiator V8 Hemi confirmed by Jeep CEO!

The scariest off camber one was outside of ouray and there was a sharp bend where the rocks were wet and the passenger side wheels had to got over some rocks which really tilted you. So shelf road with a sharp bend and wet rocks on one side. I can’t remember which trail it was.
  10. 392 Gladiator V8 Hemi confirmed by Jeep CEO!

There are some self roads out there that I’ve been on that that are also off camber. there’s no Fing way I would ever do that in a full-size. They were scary enough in my Jeep and Xterra both where I had some margin for error when my tires slipped.
  11. Let’s see your pets cause they are the best companion you can have!!!!!

I’m sorry to hear that. I hope you find some solace in 22 being a very long life for her.
  12. Rear Vent heat/cooling and air flow

You’re probably talking about on the heat setting right? It comes out under the seat. Mine works pretty good with AC coming out of the rear vents.
  13. 2028 Ram Dakota & Dakota SRT pickup confirmed for US / North America

I think it could be a hit if they do it kinda like your Chevy/GMC example and have Jeep be more upscale. They just have to do something like the ZR2 with F/R lockers and 35s. It works well for GM, they have outsold the F-150 basically every year in combined sales for decades. Not sure why they...
  14. 392 Gladiator V8 Hemi confirmed by Jeep CEO!

You needed that extra payload for your giant balls. šŸ˜‚ I’m way too afraid of heights, and likely eminent death if you go over the edge. I don’t think I’ve done hurricane pass, but on a lot of the shelf roads, full width doesn’t leave enough margin for error. I did a lot of trails there. I can’t...
  15. Rear end sag with a small load. Please help.

I can’t even tell if it has the non max tow pkg with his bumper covered up. They might be the really light duty springs.
  16. What ages you or makes you feel old?

Hell no. I make fun of the boomers here playing pickle ball. I picked soccer back up in an afternoon and did surprisingly good against a bunch of 20 yr olds. I’m not that old. Lol.
  17. Rear end sag with a small load. Please help.

That’s not a max tow. The payload is likely nowhere near 1700 lbs.
  18. What ages you or makes you feel old?

I’ll probably humble myself if I try to play. I haven’t played since I was a kid. I played soccer for 18 yrs and could kick a soccer ball 100 yds and I played a lot of 3rd base and outfield in baseball too. I was a natural for kickball. Unfortunately, I’d probably do the same thing now. I’ve...
  19. 2022 AEV Gladiator Rubicon build

I’d get the 392 and keep your Ram for towing. I’m pretty sure it’ll hold It's value better too.
