Mine has done that since new. A few different dealerships said that “it’s normal”. I finally gave up and put it in drive before reverse every cold start when leaving and it doesn’t do it. It’s annoying, and not normal, but I’m way out of warranty now and had given up years ago.
My girlfriend drives it once a week to work so it gets driven more and on the interstate. It runs way better now. Otherwise, It only gets driven around town to Home Depot runs.
I bought mine because used to tow and haul with mine a lot. I’d have bought a JLU if I was buying one today. It still comes in handy for Home Depot runs, but it’s pretty compromised for hauling lumber. I’d be better served with a utility trailer. I may end up buying a camper shell with a roof...
Nah they’re still out there. Some people think “it’s just a Jeep thing” and deal with it. Mine was awful and I knew it wasn’t right because it was so much worse than the three other SFA Jeeps I’d had before it.
It’s not so much the ride for me, it’s the steering and handling. My jeep rides great and handles fine, but my 2018 Colorado and my 2017 Canyon before it handle like sports cars in comparison. Night and day improvement. They handle better than a lot of cars. My Jeep does ride better though and...
It’s unnecessary there. It’s probably an insurance formality. It’s a Chick-fil-A drive through and good visibility. The funny part of that pic is the look the girl is giving the guy. He was apparently new and didn’t seem to understand anything she was telling him.
If the next gen was IFS, I’d still strongly consider it. When I lived in CO, I wheeled both hard and it’s not as big of a difference as it used to be. Modern IFS vehicles can be very capable. It’s not unlikely to happen with the Bronco on pace to outsell the Wrangler this year.
That’s way better and much better looking. It looks a lot better than the Maverick and the Santa Cruz too. Both are UGLY IMO. I was behind a Santa Cruz today waiting for breakfast. Terrible.
Ford realized that they only had three models that had real value. The Mustang, Bronco, and F-150. It made a lot of sense. They should have built the Bronco truck they had planned.
Look on a late model Bronco or Mustang. You have to really look to see a ford logo.
JTs definitely ride better than JLs. I hated that rear bob too, but it was an easy fix. My stock overland shocks were awful and causing it. From brand new. I put on rubicon fox take off shocks and they improved it, but it wasn’t perfect. My Bilstein 5100s completely fixed it and improved the...
