Going off what Freems said, I have stock rear tow hooks and some aftermarket ones that will probably sit in my garage cabinet till the day I die if anyone in the Atlanta south side (30269) wants them. Locks pick up only. Free fitty.
I have two rear because I hated the asymmetry on my overland...
Yup. A few years ago, when I still had my stock bumpers, I yanked hard, flooring it in 4low when I buried a 4wd tractor in my backyard. The hooks held up great.
My Gladiator will never be accused of being rough riding. Everyone comments on how good it rides and that’s after I stiffened lit up considerably with a rubicon le take off suspension and Bilstein 5100s. I hated the floaty overland ride and handling.
In my opinion, if you’re cross shopping a JLU and a JT, you don’t need a JT. A JLU would never be able to do the towing or hauling mine has done so it wasn’t a real consideration when I got mine. Now that I have my dad’s old truck, I’d rather have a JLU. They have a lot better power to weight...
One isn’t better than the other. It depends on your needs. I would have bought a JLU and been very happy with it if I had my other truck when I bought it. I needed one vehicle to do everything.
I haven’t read through all of this, but I never would have bought my Gladiator now. When I bought it, 2/2020, I paid under 2% interest and the MSRP was considerably lower than now. My Jeep was $55k MSRP and I paid $47k with a very low interest rate. Also, believe it or not, in 2020 Jeep had a...
I have to re-build our back deck and I’m adding a screened in porch. That’s going to take all my spare time for 3-4 weeks so I’m knocking out as much spring stuff as I can. I bought a Japanese Maple to replace my poor deodar cedar that our asshole neighborhood deer destroyed and killed. This is...
our raised garden bed is 164 sq ft. We didn’t have very good yields last yr and I think the soil sucks. Mulch holds the moisture in and keeps the weeds down. That’s 28 cubic feet of compost why equals just over a yd, plus 500 lbs of mulch. I had even more weight in there than I realized. lol...
Picked up 1700+ lbs of mulch and soil. I usually buy by the yard from the landscape supply store but they were closed and I needed it today. It’s really not sagging that bad for being past the payload. My Rubicon LE springs continue to impress me.
I’d say it’s semi relevant. I think they’ve improved it bs older models because mine never worked very well on older Jeeps. My JT track lock works surprisingly well. I don’t have 37s, I have 34s, but it works great. I change the fluid every 60k miles though.
