Picked up 1700+ lbs of mulch and soil. I usually buy by the yard from the landscape supply store but they were closed and I needed it today. It’s really not sagging that bad for being past the payload. My Rubicon LE springs continue to impress me.

You created a boatload of work for yourself there. :like: I get to ride around in circles on the tractor today. My weeds are growing at warp speed with all the warm weather we’re having. It’s funny. The seeds I want to grow won’t and all the weeds I don’t want to grow do.

Edit: And be careful out there. Found this lil guy this morning.

our raised garden bed is 164 sq ft. We didn’t have very good yields last yr and I think the soil sucks. Mulch holds the moisture in and keeps the weeds down. That’s 28 cubic feet of compost why equals just over a yd, plus 500 lbs of mulch. I had even more weight in there than I realized. lol

It’s all done now. The girlfriend and I knocked it out. She’s a hard worker. It should make for much better results this year.

We have a bad deer problem so we use the community garden .5 mile down the road. Nice little golf cart ride.

I have to re-build our back deck and I’m adding a screened in porch. That’s going to take all my spare time for 3-4 weeks so I’m knocking out as much spring stuff as I can. I bought a Japanese Maple to replace my poor deodar cedar that our asshole neighborhood deer destroyed and killed. This is going in its place. Im putting it in the same place, which is a good place for it with its afternoon shade and wall drained soil. Also, this species gets big and tolerates GA summers. Bloodgood Japanese Maple.

I transported it laying down to protect it the best that I could.

I love planting trees. The squirrels love it when I plant trees too. Evidently they’re good for a squirrels diet. :CWL:
And nesting……. we’ve had a few squirrels nests in a coupe of our trees. It’s cute to see the family running around chasing eachother. As long as they don’t start pissing me off….I’m Ok with it!!! 😂 Just don’t plant any Oak trees. That’s probably why they gravitate here…way too many acorns for them to fatten up on.

You should see the quantity of nests here. At least one every 25' in the treetops.

And when transporting live trees, try lighting wrapping them in a light cloth tarp (not plastic). You can find them at Lowes/HD/HF for cheap. Allows them to breath, get some light, and isn't heavy. Keeps the leaves on in the wind while driving.

Kinda wish we had tree squirrels. We only have ground squirrels here. They chew up the roots when trees are young, fill the yard with holes, and they aren’t even good to eat since they carry bubonic plague. Needless to say I am at endless war with them. ⚔

The hitch wasn't 3" from the ground, the trailer jack was. And it had surge brakes, tbh the JTW handled about the same as normal, granted the longer stopping at speed and longer acceleration times. But that's to be expected when towing vs not.

I drove big trucks, heavy equipment, and MANY delivery vehicles in all conditions. If we were going further or in an area with shitty roads/big speed bumps, I would have made them get a rental truck. Honestly, if the bed wasn't loaded down as much as it was, I wouldn't have worried at ALL about it. I used a 4" drop, might switch to a 2" drop in the future, or an adjustable drop hitch.

Also this is one of those "family" type friends. Don't have many, but I do a few.
Thats good, I wished I did I got friends on here and thats about it. All my friends from bygone years are gone . Life stinks sometimes but if ypu have a good one ya try and do what ya can. Good for you

Well I took the glove box out and fixed the servo for the recirculating/ fresh air door. But that didnt solve my problem . I still have no AC. All positions work from panel to floor to defrost and solid defrost, but it isn't refrigerated. Frustrated. I read an older post from @Hootbro who said usually it is low freon or pressure switch. 🤔 if anyone has any idea what it is let me know thanks

I use .177 air pellets on them sometimes. It’s good practice and way cheaper and easier to get in SoCal.
That is a blast haven't done that in years. It honestly is a great to practice sight picture , trigger squeeze, and of course rodent control.

Check your blend door and make sure it's moving. I'm not sure exactly were it is.
Modern rigs don't have a valve to close off the water supply to the heater core. No they just adjust the air flow across the heater core and evaporator core.

Do you have auto heat/ac control? If so also make sure the sensor by your right knee is clear. Remember that little speaker thing I had issues with, where the fan was stuck by a pine needle?
