    anyone else getting a 'sizzling' noise when the rear window defogger gets turned on?? sounds like it could be arcing or possible water vaporising. Happens when the rear window pisses on the inside. Man, fuck this rear window bullshit. been going through it ever since my 08 JKUR.

    how easy is it to remove the shaft shrouds so I can lube up my shafts too? I too have the squeak intermittently and just figured it was part of my total jeep experience.

    Looking more at it, I think this is the internal winch solenoid found inside the control box of the winch itself. The other wiring diagram doesn't even match the labels I posted above.

    I got rid of the tailgate lettering. Looks WAY cleaner now. the holes are just there but hardly noticeable to anyone besides me or another JT owner. first thing my Dad said was "well now how is anyone going to know it's a jeep?" (yes he was joking. I grew up in his '67 CJ5)

    Rain-X is always a good route to take. I coat my windshield and front side windows. but that won't keep your window clean 100. Only sure fire way is carry a can of Sprayaway glass cleaner and a small squeegee under your seat and clean the window when it gets nasty or next stop.

    Hmmm... good point. Yes, that would be nice. I would think the drivers ability to see obstacles would supercede a spotters need to see at all.

    the 80" width is for the cab lights. In the link sent above it specifically states for the lights not allowed to extend below the top of the windshield. pre-runner lights are not the same as cab lights Cab lights ARE the same as clearance lights. no one knows what the F pre runner lights are...

    can anyone attest to how much this extends the length of the JT? I've got about 10 inches of clearance in my garage with stock front and rear bumper and wondering if I'll still be able to fit after getting a new bumper. this is one I've been looking at.
