The red Colorado fleet tags make me think it's a rental....
Stupid people win stupid prizes. I hope that rental company fines them out the ass for this boneheaded move.
Hi everyone. Have a CVT Expedition RTT and while being stored this summer, the rain cover seems to have separated. I'm assuming it was due to heat but I'm not 100% sure. See the pics below.
Anyone have ideas on a way to fix this? Or should take the whole things off and look at getting a...
I had used the carlinkit options for years and have recently switched to Ottocast. It's much quicker and more reliable. Their mini is absolutely tiny too...https://www.ottocast.com/products/ottocast-mini-cube-3-0-wireless-carplay-android-auto-adapter
Also highly recommend doing the fuse mod...
To be fair, this is using a Blackvue camera. But the principle could be used for any camera that fits in there.
All I did was drill the hole size for the lens and then used lamp hardware to hold it in place against the tailgate interior panel. I can grab better photos of the actual setup, but...
Have you trued adjusting the volume? Not trying to be a smart-ass, but you can change the nav and notification volume separately from the radio volume. Next time nav starts talking, turn the volume knob.
This tells me you don't understand what's going on.
The truck won't "disable" itself if you have a bad aux battery. It'll warn you, though. Like any issue, leave it unresolved long enough and the problem will spread.
These threads always end with the acknowledgement that the true issue isn't...
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD STOP GIVING THIS GUY ANY CREDIBILITY.
He's been wrong so many times and thrives off moving goalposts so people keep sharing his videos. Stop buying into it.
Any post with this guy's videos in it is just plain trolling at this point. No excuse anymore.
Never said an amp won't help. Just said there's no reason a headunit won't help too. Not sure why you're discouraging that, but I would 100% start with the headunit, and the Stinger has a chance of getting OP exactly what he's looking for.
If it doesn't, an amp is certainly on the table, and it...
When compared to the alternatives, yes it is.
You said you don't have the Stinger headunit, so I would hope you realize you can't judge a comparison for something you've never experienced.
I'll give you three reasons a headunit is a good first move:
#1 - A better headunit provides better signal to an amp, which means better results, so there's no reason to ignore it.
#2 - If you had to choose between amplifying a crappy source, or fixing the source first and then determining if...
It is much better than factory. Both volume capability as well as EQ balance. The sound is substantially better. Of course headunits are limited in what they can provide when compared to a separate amp, but in my many years of car audio experience, the Stinger units do quite a good job of giving...
Here we go again!
The unfortunate truth is the builders and modifiers are not their core market. Far, far more people buy Jeeps for what they are and do minimal work to them if any. This "audience" you refer to is a very tiny subset. Definitely not enough of a subset to support its own product...
