A quick search showed custom C channel bumpers on a different forum that I used to be active on. Granted these bumpers were on JK's but the same would still apply to JL & JT. I think a custom bumper could be made pretty easily if I am envisioning what you are thinking about

When you say brakes set, do you mean the parking brake? Try it with the parking brake off

Sounds like most of the problems are dealer related. And yes - I also would be pissed. You should just have it hauled out to AMW. They will fix it or build it as the case may be.

I would look at elongating the bumper mount holes. This should give you enough clearance.

You mentioned highway wandering. The first thing I thought of was the LCA. Mopar has one available that is slightly longer then stock. Pretty inexpensive and easy to install.

I believe it is the cut of the ring gear in the differential. Not the transmission.

I think you would be a good candidate for rear airbags.
