A couple great ideas in those other threads.
The plywood idea was more if someone sliced the tonneau to gain access.
I am not sure how many people know how the tonneau cover flips open to gain access the to release straps.
I have thought about this myself as I also have the factory roll up tonneau.
One idea I has was to cut a piece of plywood, install 4 legs (or secure it to the trail rail in somehow) on it and have it sit just below the cover.
If someone where to open the tonneau, they would be looking at...
How much flex is there with the pole?
I think it would look better with the flag closer to the grill, but not if it makes contact with the grill or hood when driving.
Probably going to get banned for this, but who pissed in your cornflakes?
I don't see anyone saying Jeep invented ESS.
Yes, peddle moderation works most of the time, but not always. I guess they don't have any downhill grades approaching stop signs in Iowa.
As far as ESS, I have driven...
I deactivate ESS it every time I drive. My original statement was that I feel like the ESS promotes rolling stops at stop signs. A couple of times that I have forgotten to deactivate and I have come to stop signs, the Jeep will shut off for the half second before I have to go.
I am having the same problem with my rear defroster.
The button lights up, but no heating.
Are your side mirrors warming up? I do not think mine are.
I am still under warrantee, but I have been too busy to take it in.
I was reading on the JL forum about similar issues and the fix was to epoxy...
Installed the lights. Pretty simple install overall.
Of course I installed them the morning after switching the clocks for daylight savings.
I think it may be a while before I actually get to use them.
I will say I am impressed with the amount of light they put out in full sun.
It definitely looks low in the back.
Have the part numbers been confirmed for what you ordered vs received?
If they are the correct parts, I would look at the rear springs from the 3.5" kit.
I would look at the @Clayton Off Road leveling kit. It is a pretty complete kit that can be upgraded later.
I was going to go with just there leveling kit, but I ended up with their 1.5 riderite instead.
I know I need a better pic…
Thank you everyone for your input.
I decided on the Yellow Max and placed my order this morning.
The deciding factor for me was that the yellow max and white max use the same LEDs, so if I wanted to change to white, all I have to do is swap lenses. At least that is my understanding.
Hopefully...
