  1. How accurate is the miles to empty?

I think the estimated until empty is overly conservative. I routinely run mine down to 20 miles to empty and I normally can only put in 17 gallons. Per Jeep, we have 22 gallon tanks.
  2. Softopper - Retractable Truck Bed Cover for Gladiator

Pics for reference when I said I extended my rear straps.
  3. Softopper - Retractable Truck Bed Cover for Gladiator

I used tree swing straps to get the length. D-ring on each end plus a carabiner. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0874V51QR?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_1&th=1 I also didn't trust the plastic ring the straps were supposed to attach to. Not that it failed, but I didn't want to test it.
  4. Softopper - Retractable Truck Bed Cover for Gladiator

@Koolcarguy I thought the same about the rear lifting slightly so I ran the rear straps down to the bed tie down
  5. AWE Rear Exit Exhaust

I appreciate the responses so far. Hitting the exhaust is not a concern for me. I was looking for opinions on the exhaust being visible from behind. Sorry if I wasn’t clear.
  6. AWE Rear Exit Exhaust

This is a question for those with a AWE trail or single exit tread exhausts or maybe considering the single exit tread exhaust. What are your thoughts on a single exit under the rear bumper? 8. Clayton Overland Plus vs Metalcloak Gamechanger - with towing

Clayton also offers a HD spring. But you may want the standard weight and use airbags when necessary.
  9. Bed rack survey: steel or aluminum?

I would vote for aluminum. Less prone to corrosion, less weight above the bed keeping the COG lower.
  10. Rear Pinion failure and no parts availability

I don't know where you are in NJ, but you may want to reach out to Globex Performance in Toms River, NJ. I have never used them personally due to location, but I have heard other Jeepers have been happy with their axle work.

  16. Tint clear soft windows

Not to second guess, but are you sure about the $1100? To replace the windows on a JK was about $300 the last time I had to, granted that has been a little while. Jeep also had a single part number for 3 windows at that time. The single part number was a package deal that gave a much better...
  17. Replacing OEM JT Rubican fenders and inner fenders

Hi Chip I could be mistaken, but I was under the impression that the 315/70 17 fit with no problems on the Rubicon. The Rubicon and Mojave have the high clearance fenders already.
  18. Pennsylvania Rear bed sliders

Does this one have the trail rail mounts or does it clamp to the bed? My JT has the trail rail. Are the front and rear panels black or see through? Is there any damage to the frame or material? Thanks
