OP, keep checking on walmart.com when you're buying. Several on this forum, including myself, have bought tires HEAVILY discounted there. I picked up a set of Maxxis Razr MTs, 37x12.5, for $146 each. The deals show up every few months, and disappear quickly, so you'll have to check often.
I've been running a catch can since the beginning (50k miles ago). The can is a cheap, Amazon one with a 300 ml capacity. It's about 1/3 full when I check it every 3k miles. I can't say whether or not it improves performance, but it has kept a lot of crap from gunking up the intake.
My wife and I were there last weekend also. Fantastic park! We ran the 4 BOH trails, and several others while we were there. Only had 1 pucker moment, when we slid backwards down the slab on Fun Run. Would definitely recommend this park to anyone, there's enough variety to keep most everyone...

When I bring my dog wheeling, he's always in the cab. Usually my wife or one of the kids holds onto him. He's liable to get tossed around and hurt in the bed.
