I ordered a base Sport (no power windows/locks).
My only options were the following:
aux switches
regular hard top
automatic transmission
tow package
spray in bedliner
factory window tint
I got to $37K OTD. For a weekend/fun vehicle it's hard to justify spending 50-60k on a Rubicon or a...

Word on the street is that MY22 will only have a few small changes besides colors. You aren't missing out on much.
If you get a MY21 order in now you'd at least be guaranteed a delivery date by late November unless Jeep has a habit of transferring last minute MY orders into the next model year.
Good deal! I test drove one of those in February and really liked it. it was a long debate versus that or the base Sport for me.
In the end I did Sport since I figured I'd be upgrading most of the features that come with the Willys package. It is sharp looking though!
I owned a 2009 Tacoma (so the previous gen, not the current). I did test drive a 2017 and a 2020 Tacoma before ordering the Gladiator.
I was APALLED at how bad the newer Tacomas drove. Borderline hazardrous accelleration, auto transmission was incredibly sluggish and the interior felt like it...
Please clarify if you are talking about the base Sport or the Sport S.
Checking on the build configurator it looks like you get the standard soft top on the base sport with no option for the premium.
Meanwhile on the Sport S you have the option of stepping up to the premium soft top for an...
I briefly looked at ordering a Bronco months ago but I really utilize the bed most of the time. Seeing the utter mess that is going on in Bronco land has really solidified my decision as well as the axing of the Bronco pickup.
I am coming from a Tacoma like many here so the Gladiator should...
Too bad Jeep doesn't do what Volvo and BMW and some others do and offer a factory pickup program. There isn't the incentive of getting around import tax but it could help improve customer loyalty.
To improve your delivery time it's also suggested to order from a volume dealer like Gupton since they seem to get builds prioritized since they can fill out entire trucks quicker.
Also after watching cryptostickers for any length of time and seeing the experiences of people on here Rubicons...
According to crypto a base Sport ordered on 7/16 just got their build sheet. But after parsing through the recently updated orders it's all 95% Rubicons and Mojaves....
You can order a new one from Gupton for around that cost. As long as you're willing to wait a month or two.
I'd only do that if you need a JT NOW or if you really really want Gobi.
Yup, there are lots of special colors that become available throughout the year and do not show up on the online build tool despite being available for order.
I'd be curious to know the specs of your build. Seems like base models seem to get delayed a lot more whereas Rubicons and Mojaves get built right away.
My dealers are still getting lot inventory but they come in 2s or 3s it seems like and they are gone within a week of hitting the lot.
One dealer in my city got 2 base Willys in the other day and a dealer near my GFs house had 3 high altitudes on the lot last week when I checked.
The people who put a small percentage down on loaded 60k rubicons and then immediatley dump an additional 5 grand into a lift and tires they will never use are the ones who always lose out. Especially if they roll negative equity into the loan and/or sell the vehicle after a year or two and...
I ordered a base Sport since the following:
(A) this is going to be a weekend/fun vehicle. I won't be driving it every day and when I do I will be the only person in the vehicle 99% of the time.
(B) wanted to keep my payments as low as possible, just on principle of it being a secondary...
