100%, @MonkeySkunks #1 thing I miss about Louisiana is that food. We have friends that want us to come back for a visit soon and I'm like - nah, let's wait for crawfish season.

Let me know if Daniel is in the office....wanting a Gecko Green but hasn't responded to my emails for the past two days!
I think I saw somewhere in the depths of this thread that he’s usually off on Wednesdays? I got an email from him on Tuesday (after a bit of a wait too) and he mentioned that they were short staffed so he’s probably sifting through a TON of emails…

Yeah I'd like to know this too. I assume they can roll this in to the financing and then write you a check for the TTL so you can handle it yourself once you get back to your home state. Not a big deal if they can't, but I'd rather see the TTL as a line-item on the deal rather than have to calculate it myself.
I've wondered about TT&L with Gupton (and just about any fly-n-buy deal) as well. That $599 document fee says TT&L to me, but if you're paying all of that separately on your own, what's it for exactly?
Response from Daniel on the matter:
We can definitely roll TTL into the financing if you prefer us to do it that way! Not a problem at all!

1st, orange mojave details look awesome with sarge.

Did Gupton roll your state's TTL into the financing or did you take care of that separate?
I have only my state (MD) sales tax included in the financing, I will have to do state titling and registration by myself.

Good discussion. There are a few good options and definitely a few instances of local dealers which will come close to matching where it makes sense to go there. I hood no grudge against a local dealer that will go say 5% under vs Gupton’s 8%…people can price in their time as they see fit.

What does ‘grind my gears’ is dealers who don’t come anywhere close and claim Gupton prices are impossible, a scam, etc. I see that as lying to customers and almost stealing cash from older or less-informed buyers. Those dealers know full well that Gupton is doing, but they just don’t want to come off their thousands-per-truck profit margins and are mad anyone else is willing to.
I just left a local dealer about an hour ago who told me Gupton's deal is impossible. I wanted to give the local guy a shot with a truck built exactly how I want, but for the $4,000+ difference of his "best deal" I will buy a one way flight to Nashville for less than $200. I'm about to email Daniel.

Has anyone ever researched who is/are the highest volume Gladiator/Jeep dealer or dealers? Would be nice to be armed with this information so that we can show dealers like the one mentioned that no it’s not impossible, ALL of these guys are doing it.
There are at least six or seven dealers mentioned on here almost daily that are 6-8% below invoice on ordered vehicles.
Thanks to anyone who has put in the time and can post the link to the findings.

In the same boat, I emailed Daniel yesterday to get my order started. I've tried twice at the local dealer, they had their shot. Thankfully I'm only a 7 hour drive to Gupton, and my brother lives about half way. I'm going to make a nice weekend trip of it when it comes in.

I'm a 6.5 hr drive the other way. My wife and I will make a weekend of it. We've been wanting to go back to Memphis.

I see it like my local dealer gave me a short vacation and a good amount of miles to get used to the new truck.
I put 400 miles on one last month when I rented one. Looks like I get to do it all over again.

Also in the same boat. Save thousands and it only cost $100 flight and 9 hr drive in a brand new gladiator that I've been wanting and waiting on for years. If I can get an early enough flight I can be home for dinner.

Going splurge an extra $100 to take the oldest kid with me and make a short road trip out of it.

Gladiator won't fit in my garage so using some of the savings to redo the garage.

This statement is begging me to plug Central BBQ. Best in Memphis (still in business), but perhaps you already know that ? ? ? . Legend has it the guys that opened it up learned their craft from The Public Eye, if you've ever heard of that one. Man, now I want some bbq....
