Anyone know if there's a big difference between the two leather seat options for the Sport S, perforated or smooth? Is one more durable or is it just looks? I'm ordering the smooth!
Yes! See What do you lose if you don't get leather? | Jeep Gladiator Forum - JeepGladiatorForum.com

The perforated option is basically dealer-installed and starts with a CLOTH interior. In my opinion it's the worst option since it has all the downsides of leather (in hot/cold climates) but without any of the interior trim upgrades.

Just picked up my Gladiator Mojave from Gupton today! It’s been arrived and waiting for my pickup for 12 days… and the experience from buying to pick up was nothing like I ever had at any other dealership. Walter Lee was my sales person who I got in touch through internet query! He arranged to pick me up from the airport as well. It’s a small family based dealership with exceptional customer service!! Plus the great discounts below invoice that no other dealer could match in PA, MD, VA or NC. Big Thanks go to this forum as well which extremely helped me in making my first custom order purchase of new Jeep, and all over emails?

My MSRP Total price was 49,165.00 and then with Groupon discounts :
Pricing would be as follows:
$44387 (standard order pricing below factory invoice)
$43915 (standard order pricing; Must have Tread Lightly Control #)
$43443 (standard order pricing; Must have Tread Lightly Control # AND dealer arranged financing)
All prices are plus $499 doc fee and $7.50 for a 30 day temporary tag to get you back home. These prices do not include any applicable sales tax that may or may not have to be collected depending on where you live. Must be a member of Tread Lightly for 30 days prior to obtaining a Control #.

My PA dealers total with Tax title etc..... $45,834
So, unless I am missing something, my PA dealer is given me a better price. OR am I seeing something wrong?

I picked up my Sport S Max Tow last Saturday. The experience was great and I used the drive home to do the engine break-in on the back roads of KY and IN.
I am extremely thankful for this thread and for Daniel's approach to vehicle buying. I got the truck I wanted for thousands less.

Are you buying from Horsham? I had an MSRP of $55.6 and a sales price of $49.4 (with Tread Lightly Control #) before tax, title, and $394 doc fee on my purchase from them. Maybe I could have saved a few hundred bucks buying from a dealer in TN, but you have to add in the additional time and expense of getting there and if you feel like driving 10 hours home.

1st, orange mojave details look awesome with sarge.

Did Gupton roll your state's TTL into the financing or did you take care of that separate?

Yeah I'd like to know this too. I assume they can roll this in to the financing and then write you a check for the TTL so you can handle it yourself once you get back to your home state. Not a big deal if they can't, but I'd rather see the TTL as a line-item on the deal rather than have to calculate it myself.

I went ahead and emailed Daniel about it. Will update with his response when he sends it.

I've wondered about TT&L with Gupton (and just about any fly-n-buy deal) as well. That $599 document fee says TT&L to me, but if you're paying all of that separately on your own, what's it for exactly?

Google Daniel Gupton Boat...just kidding. I assume it's covered because it seems to be standard procedure for out-of-state dealerships. The $7 for a temp plate is the bizarre part that makes me wonder if it is or not.

Regarding the tax, when I bought from Gupton they included TN tax in my financing and then mailed a check for the same amount with the title paperwork. I then deposited that check and paid my TX tax locally. I don't know if this is standard procedure for them, but it's how they did it with me. Their finance guy mentioned it might have been due to the lender, but not sure.

I guess that's not too bad. TN tax looks like 7% and local tax is 10% so I'd only have to come up with 3% out of pocket. Better than nothing. Hopefully it doesn't go any higher before the truck comes in.

If my local tax was 10% I would be moving...
