I did standard black 20% on the front side to match the rear side, and then did 50% ceramic on the front. This pic shows it darker than it is, but it doesnt inhibit driving at night/ rain being 50 ceramic.
My friend [in a JLR] ran 40's on 4.10's for a while before upgrading to 5.38. He was fine but like others mentioned, he wondered why he waited so long. I know the JL is different and a lighter vehicle, this was for reference only.
I have another friend with an eco diesel rubicon running stock...
I’m running RPM. Earlier this year a lady ran a stop sign and I hit her, did my best to avoid but my left knuckle was toast, RCV was cooked and the axle housing bent. How did RPM hold up? A slight bend to the driver side rod arm, but the bar was fine. 10/10 would do buy RPM again.
I love mine. I have a 7yo and he uses the step before he jumps off.
They did great for me on Windrock trip. They fill up with mud and sand out in the everglades, but thanks to having so many slots on the underside, sticking a hose in and flushing out is easy work.
They are anchored to the body...
I did mine back in December, I am loving the simplicity of hosing it out after I get home from the Everglades. I just need to re work some of the drains, my flooring must be skewed, the plugs don't fit right.
Which tip did you go with? I can probably hear it more because its dumping out by the left rear brake line. If it went down, it would probably move the sound away from my ears. I also have a soft top.
Yea, a little, probably 12-15% change. It's not louder by any means, but it just purrs weird now like the tone changed. Seriously, like a tacoma--its hollow sounding. I thought I was safe and would be free of a change in sound since it wasnt the muffler, but that resonator kept it from sounding...
I have a [sport] manual:
-spicer front d44
-front and rear elockers
-4.5" teraflex mid arm kit, front antirock
-40" beadlocks
-I have 5.13 gears, but as others have mentioned 5.13 or 5.38's for 40"
-mine is gobi in color but 100% would do it over again in any green <3
I took it to Windrock for...
