You mean the pedal feel? To be safe check the brake fluid level.
were you hauling @ss over bumps and terrain? If the truck pulling one way or the other?
Haha, no problem bro. Yea, my friend sold his MAXXIS to me and he upgraded to Trail Grapplers. They were used, I bought them for 1k off him and installed them when I got my beadlocks. For me, they were OK. He wasn’t going to get them again and wanted the TG. I kept them for about six months and...
I went to Windrock with a guy who has eco diesel and 40's, nothing upgraded in terms of axle shafts, no truss, no regear, nada. Four days of black diamonds and blues and he drove 700 mies home :)
GO WITH 40'S.
Brother, If you want to see the abuse stock axle's can do, go follow Hutch719 on IG...
Beautiful shots.
Any grinding, clunking or notice anything different today than before the trip? If not, you're probably good. This vehicle in base form is very capable.
-I need lighting for the back, cant decide if yellow or clear since itll be mostly for camping but some rear trail lighting
-I want to beef up my cowl lights from regular pods to LP4's
-Rock lights at some point
However, the last lights I did install are your flush mount tails. I had trail...
Heck yea, have and love! I paired it with Baja Design's S1's in yellow. They steer with the knuckle, pretty neat design. I used a bit of dielectric grease in the connector because where I am and wheel, they get completely submerged frequently.
What area are you in?
We can get the permit as a 'swamp buggy' and do just fine on those trails. The way to get it is you have to take off your license plate and tow the jeep/ gladiator to get inspected. That will get you access to the nastier trails.
😂 Huge rooster tails, in standing water, yes very much so. My kid loves when I hit puddles for that reason. Typically, even at highway speeds, the rooster tail isn't bad at all. Its not a constant stream unless I'm in a downpour or I run over pooled up water. The fenders are enough to [for the...
Did you debadge the front quarters as well, or just the tailgate? I've done my tailgate and always wanted to do the fender and never seem to get around to it.
If you plan on doing other mods to the vehicle just go ahead and get you a Tazer. It has the ability to create a memory for that button so when you turn it off, itll come back to the last setting of on or off.
I cant really comment on the stock height, but I have three friends wheeling on a 2.5" lift and 40's with no rubbing. They did do fenders.
I have spacers on mine but I like the pushed out look. A 1.75" spacer will clear your OEM studs and you won't need to grind them down.
Down in the southern part, there are three big WMA's that allow for it. Its mostly swamp and trails but there is something sketchy about maintaining engine speed and momentum slowing to a stop when youre in 3 feet of water and its just slipping 😅
Thanks man!
I am a glutton for punishment 😆...
Thank you!
Thank you very much. Their tails look really nice, but its been a never ending story of them not releasing them. I got bored of waiting and didn't want to get pulled over.
The 25 grill is a straight swap with zero modifications necessary. The updated grill is about 2" shorter. I...
Windrock was Thanksgiving week last year. The truck stayed like that for the most part until March. I took it out to pick up some beer, it hadnt been used much, I rotate a coupe cars. On the way back, on my residential street, a lady ran a stop sign and I couldnt stop in time. I was only going...
After the fenders, the mods really started going on. Front Antirock, RPM Steering 2.5" steering bars, Falcon adjustible front stabilizer, 1.5" spacer for the front suspension to level it out, 1.75" wheel spacers all around, front truss and Motobilt fr/r diff covers. Did a new flex test; couldnt...
A little about where this truck started to where it is, and whats planned. I had never been a Jeep person and I'll admit, I didn't do enough research or I'd probably have started with a Rubicon instead of a Sport. That being said, this journal really has three parts. The first iteration where I...
