Motobilt Rocker Guards with Steps

Anybody run the Motobilt rocker guards with steps? Thoughts/opinions? Is the step actually useful or pretty narrow.

I like the look of them but I'm just not sure about drilling the body. I've always avoided that in the past. I think that's my biggest hang up on them.

I had them on mine but I ended up replacing them for a couple reasons. The main reason for me was I needed something with a step to get in and out mine since it was lifted. The step on it was not very wide. I still have a scar on my ankle from when my foot slipped off it and ended up cutting my ankle when it got wedged between the door and steps. One a side note they are built very solid.

I like mine (my wife, not so much).
I added Catstongue Grips that look nice and are very sticky.

I love mine. I have a 7yo and he uses the step before he jumps off.

They did great for me on Windrock trip. They fill up with mud and sand out in the everglades, but thanks to having so many slots on the underside, sticking a hose in and flushing out is easy work.

They are anchored to the body and peace of mind for protection. I have no worries getting tight up to rocks or trees with them on.
