With rebate changes, pandemic, shipping delays, manufacturing delays, original UPC issues, etc. problems will occasionally happen. I've been working with Bestop Customer Service to straighten out a rebate for the twill Sunrider I bought at the end of last February.
Please be patient and polite...
Find out if it was pre-owned or if these were demo miles. If pre-owned, you should consider it used and go from there (negotiate).
Even if it wasn't pre-owned, 4k miles on a "new" vehicle isn't nothing. Simply use it as leverage for a slightly better deal. The jeep doesn't care if the miles...
Looks like a mere flesh wound. Unless there's an actual dent I think it would be more hassle and time spent dealing with it than it's worth. Will the tire lip cover it up?
Hi Lee - thanks for the response. I realize the form specifies the original UPC must be included, but in my case (which I doubt is unusual) I recycled the box before downloading and reading the rebate form.
I have no doubt there's good reason to want the original UPC (fraudulent rebate claims...
It can be lame but the vocal minority are the ones who we tend to hear
While there may be a higher percentage of eccentrics in ham radio (maybe due to the technical aspect), you see this in many hobbies and jobs: photography, cycling, CB, trucking, police & fire, boating, R/C, etc. You get egos...
Also be careful of loads on the side caps of the bed. I noticed on one side the slot that accepts the tonneau cover latch, near the rear, was slightly bent down and inward towards the bed.
All I can figure is I had a (light weight) kayak spending a lot of time in the bed, diagonally, with one...
Well this is a little disappointing.
After waiting a couple months for my $100 rebate for the Sunrider top, I recently checked the status online it said a response had been mailed out.
Today I receive it, but it's not a rebate; it's a letter saying the rebate has been declined.
Reason stated...
I'm not thrilled with the Pentastar's "okay" power and torque but I knew that before I bought, had one or two before.
Everything in life is a trade-off. Given the fun factor, manual transmission, convertible, off-road capability, aftermarket support, and most of all the pickup format, all in...
Center console might be the best option. Not only is it protected from the elements, but it's also lockable (well it used to be on the JK, come to think of it I never checked on the JT), and the display is still somewhat in view without taking your eyes off the road.
(in the JK) I had an Icom...
Radio "ham" is not an acronym so no need to put it in all caps.
If you're looking to use it to communicate with other jeepers on a trail run, there won't be many to talk to. CB may be dead according to some but it's cheap, easy and works well if the group is tight.
For backup/emergency...
It's such a subtle detail but really transforms the rear. It gives the sense of lower, wider, sleeker but without looking goofy. This looks great!! Shop did a nice job.
It looked odd to me when I first saw it a few years ago, but after reading it described as if it's flying from a mast with the person or vehicle moving in a forward direction, it looks entirely correct.
I have no affiliation with WeatherTech other than being a happy customer. I've had WeatherTech floor liners and WeatherTech window visor/deflectors on my last 3-4 vehicles (Ram pickups, Jeeps and even my wife's Honda Odyssey) and have nothing but top recommendations in terms of quality and...
$30K is insane for that, and description says "all original" but is it really? And what the heck is a "Super Jeep"? Oh wait. it's on Facebook. That explains.
Maybe give the MT a chance. I'm 90% daily driver as well, if not more, but chose MT. They're great on the trail but a great daily driver as well. Try it, you might like it. I'd guess the AT will last a little longer.
The no-drill front panel has been on my wish list for a while. Didn't realize they made no-drill side panels (those must be new) which will work even better for me. I need to keep as much bed length as possible. Can you provide detail on where the bolt holes are for the side panels?
