  1. Sting grey owners (future) check in

Hi there, it’s only a small excerpt. Overall they handle everything. I believe He was just pointing out their fee. All can be handled there. Including any trades I may have. Appears to be straight forward. I’ll prolly actually stop by there while traveling on vacation. See what’s what. All...

  3. Sting grey owners (future) check in

Per Travis they will take care of registration right at the dealership with dmv and such. So no worries.
  4. Sting grey owners (future) check in

Just did a pre check with Travis at Tri-City. Went over some options for an Overland. Have an estimate of what kind of money to be spent. I intend to throw the Rubicon or the optional Mopar rims/tyres on it before I bring it back to PA. Just under a month away to order. Fingers crossed
  5. What’s the average age here on the Forum?

Love this post. So accurate on many levels. I think I fall into your category. Weekend warrior, daily driver, open air driving with utility. I can afford a vehicle at this stage of life. So why not?
  6. Drove the Rubicon Gladiator for the second time and going to get one today!!!

@IceAge , Can the very front of hard cover be tilted up as well? As in resting against cab. For instance if I’m throwing mulch in there, just for more clearance. I know mulch in a Jeep?Āæ!! Travesty!:-) Sorry ,still like a usable trucks :-)
  7. Overlanding Build Questions/Payload Capacity

Not wanting to get flamed.... I’m by no means an expert engineer but been playing with cars for a while. Racing, etc. If Jeep is anything like some other German sports car makers, the numbers put out by marketing are usually conservative. This kind of safeguards them in lawsuits from idiots...
  8. UPDATE: JL line shutdown, 7k JT Government Orders - Possible UAW Strike

Thanks @W1ck3d24, very cool information that doesn’t always get discussed. Thanks for the insight.
  9. While waiting for my StingGray...

  11. Comparing Gladiator to Current Truck (F150) - Didn't Fall in Love Like I Wanted To

I’m must admit early on had this same scenario playing out in my head. However I don’t tow too often. Hauling is another story. Part of me misses my Grandpa’s old Ford 100 that was sold (back in ā€˜76) before I could have a say in trying to purchase, ha I was 12! Lot of great memories. The...
  12. Rubicon Trail

Thanks for all the responses. Rest assured, I will not be taking a daily driver new Gladiator Heheheh. Would love to try it. Most likely on one of the Jeep tours that are out there. Hells Revenge also on my bucket list :-) Great videos thanks for them. Didn’t realize that Jeep bestows the...
  13. 5% under invoice in PA

Thanks for info. I’ll be dealing with a dealership not too far away from Coatesville. See who wants to make a sale or match each other.
  14. Rubicon Trail

I’m new to this ā€œJeepā€ culture:-) I’ve had F150’s for the past 25yrs and play with old German sports cars and the restoration of them. I’m smitten by the Gladiator for what it is and what needs it will serve me at this point in my life. So here’s the thing, for the experienced out there (not...
  15. Black grille?

Thanks guys. Didn’t see that. I need to view these on something other than a smart phone screen. Appreciate the responses.
  16. Black grille?

I’ve seen some Wranglers with ā€œblacked outā€ grilles. Some have a face like appearance ā€œDarth Vaderā€ if you will. Is that aftermarket stuff or Mopar? My goal is a Sting Gray body colour with a black grille but without the evil face stuff. I think one of the prototype/concept was sporting...
  17. Gladiator order...not quite there

Yep! Can you say beach :-)
  18. Gladiator order...not quite there

Well visited dealer again this morning. More seat time. Way less busy. Even filled up at the gas pumps. That fuel door is just a one touch push to pop and push to close. I aimed for every road imperfection this time. Salesman directed me to one road that was needing plenty of repairs. The...
