From my research a quality V8 conversion is going to run you at least 40k in parts and labor, though it would get you a new 8hp transmission at the same time. Thatās why the āstandardā a/t is out there at places like rubitrux.com.
Living trouble free miles. Helps prove the theory that bad stuff gets posted while the good times roll on without a post.
It also shows that transmissions need service too. (But the manufacturers donāt care because it wonāt fail until it is out of warranty).
When I was a kid my uncle helped load a POS trailer for our move. On the interstate it started fishtailing because of the bad loading. My mom panicked and hit the brakes. Instant spin.
We all walked away from it but the brand new car was totaled and we were lucky it wasnāt us. Bad weight...
Lucky 13. I have no interest in the RR for a bunch of reasons. Iām also not interested in the Oracles for some of the same reasons and some different ones. I remain interested in your design / production. Quietly lurking in the shadows waiting ā¦
I understood you to say there was UM/UIM coverage from one of the comments. If not then youād have to wonder whether the carrier made a meaningful offer of UM / UIM. But even so your property damage should be a part of your own coverage at least until the limit is exhausted. Again I suggest...

Iām in the cover king camp after leaving Mopar. The Mopar ones are overpriced for what they are. I did a write up on the install of the sound deadening. Highly recommend that for any of them since it will / does make a big difference.
Pretty much but in some cases I think it helped *some* consumers / drivers to understand they needed to do some basic maintenance like tires, windshield wipers, and light bulbs. In Germany I understand that the inspection actually involves whacking the underside of the chassis to see if there...
I had this happen in a 911 w/ 6 speed. Itās been so long I canāt remember what the root cause was for sure but I think it was a synchro issue / defect. Was a (relatively) common problem in that era 996. I sold the car and heard much later that the tranny ? itself shortly afterwards.
It finally went away here when the dealers started whining about having to increase the costs of inspection because they were losing money on them. No way the state was going to increase it and no way that the dealers were going to continue to do them so it quietly died. Now the Clampetts are...
