I wouldn't be too worried. Even if you are, I don't know what you could possibly do short of ripping the whole thing apart and probably never getting it back together again. At that point, you're better off just replacing the center console.

For those looking for racks, I'll just throw out there that the BillieBars have served me extremely well. Using the short set, I set my own tent height by ordering and bolting together additional pieces of extrusion. I also made it all removable.
