Yeah, after doing some measuring and thinking of how I want my setup, I definitely should have gone with the medium 56 inch pioneer but I'll just have to get creative with this one
I got the XL which looks like it’s 96” in length. I’m gonna have to get real crafty me thinks. Prob a rack the same height as the roof so I can center it about 20” over the cab and 16” sticking out the back.

I don't think those are the actual closed dimensions which are listed next to that diagram as 87 x 48 x 15 which makes way more sense. (You're worried about back overhang, 87 wide would be well over the bed width.) I'm thinking of shooting them an email to verify. I ordered the XL as well so very curious. Even so, with 87 being the long length when closed, that's over 2 feet of overhang.
Use SuperStrut from Home Depot and build a simple Bed Rail kit or rack. The blue endcaps are from Lowes. Home Depots SuperStrut has magnetic connectors the will hold in place while you're adjusting and tightening everything up.
They will fit the RSI cap, I have Yakima control tower removable mounts on mine. Same thing , also if trying to keep the height down you could easily drill those bars and mount right to the RSI tracks…..Jack
Unless you want it to over hang the bed you would need to get a Full Size rack so it over hangs the cab. I bought the same size. I am planning on getting the Rebel Off-Road Full Height Rack but I want that one for other reasons but it is a little more expensive.
The bed is only 57 inches I believe is what I measured so the 72 inch will hangover quite a bit unless you get a full size rack and have it hang over the cab.

Got the Pioneer Tan - L - 72” too but for $800, still not a bad deal but that’s a little over a foot of overhang with a half-rack. Not sure if I can shell out another $1k for a full-size rack but Facebook Marketplace always has someone willing to part ways for maybe half the price. I’d check there.
