What a great deal they had going yesterday on the biggest RTT.
Things are going fast. Supply and demand has driven the price up a little.
I was very tempted to pull the trigger yesterday but I'm trying to keep the truck weight and center of balance as low as possible. I'll just be sticking to tenting it for now and would like to add a trailer for easy drive overnighters.

Yep, that’s it. Billie bars are damn near $700 now. I could have sworn when I was waiting for my truck to be built they were about half that price.

Cascadia Vehicle Tents (CVT) is liquidating their 2024 inventory with (no joke) nearly 90% off their tents and overlanding accessories. I called to make sure it wasn't a scam, and it's legit. Said after more than 10 years running with the same models, they're refreshing everything for 2025 and want to get rid of their stock.

I just picked up an 87" rooftop tent, interior and exterior insulation, and a 270° awning for a grand total of $735—and free shipping! The only catch is they're not offering manufacturing warranties on it, since they're redesigning the model. But a $500 name-brand tent is a risk worth taking.

I'd been waiting for Guana to restock their $2,800 72" Wanaka tent. And I was prepared to wait further to get it on sale for $2,100 during Black Friday.

Feels like a highway robbery having gotten that awning and the XL tent for 655$ with how the prices have gone up since yesterday.

Thank you, OP! No plan for RTT as I tow my small vintage Airstream. But, great deal on screened in room for use with awning. I'm certain I can modify sufficiently to use with my camper's vintage style awning. For only $34 + ship it'll certainly come in handy for my planned Alaska trip next year. I couldn't have diy sewn one with a ceiling & 4 zipper doors.

I was looking at that just now considering it's just $71. Looks like it's a white brand and different companies just slapping logo on it so OVS and CVT are the same light. But the bag it comes in is huge and the light seems like a big waste of space vs something like the Devos Lightranger. How do you like it so far? Do you keep it in the same giant suitcase or something else?

I got the 72" in grey for $395 because it was all that was left. After the impulse buy, I now have to figure out if it can even be mounted to my Gladiator, LOL. Looks like I'll have to buy a bed rack tall enough to lift the overhang of this thing over the top of the roof of the cab. Any suggestions?

If that's too expensive or too much of a hassle, I may very well have a 72" rooftop tent for sale in the San Antonio area.

You don't need it to clear the roof. Should sit on the bed just fine. Depending on your budget BillieBars has a nice low profile design. I'm personally looking at these for now myself...
