Does the arb jack have some kind of mechanical safety like a latching mechanism or something similar?
My assumption for the base you got planned is some kind of plate steel with bitters or rubber underneath so the base doesn't slip.
Either way, that's a wild picture you got. It makes me want...
It's almost a year now since my first stealership "ordered" the parts to complete the recall. It's probably been almost 2 months since I had a second place order recall parts.
I'm still waiting for something to happen with either dealer. I mean this is a recall that's been open for a year now...
I have:
2 pairs of Daytona 3 ton stands
2 pairs of Daytona 6 ton stands
Daytona 3 Ton Low Pro Long Reach
Pro Eagle 3 Ton
Would recommend any of them although the Badlands Offroad Jack is a much better value
They definitely are radial based on the tire code on the sidewall. The R in the tire code before the wheel size denotes the type of tire construction, which in this case is radial.
I've got the 3.5 overland plus lift for the diesel and the 3.5 hd springs in the rear.
Shocks are the Falcon 3.3 shocks.
The wear is tiny but it is something to know about.
You also get about that much poke with a 12.5 wide tire
I'm a fan of clayton with no experience at all with aev.
Clayton rides firm(even too stiff for some people) but I don't mind the ride most of the time.
It's much firmer than stock to where you feel the bumps in the road much more.
With my 37" baja boss ats on method 703s with 0 offset I do...
I run the HD springs in the rear with an extra 1.5" spacer. I have about 300# in the rear and its fine like that. When it's loaded up with maybe 150# more it's a pretty nice ride.
