What's your goal, to save money or to have a smoother, quieter ride?
If the latter, go for it. As long as you're willing to go through the hassle of swapping out wheels whenever needed. Your frequency and patience would determine that hassle.
If the former, you'll have to do some math. Road...
These ones?
I'm a fan of the gold zinc as I hate rust. But there seems to be a review about it not fitting on the Mojave passenger side due to stock skid plate. The review mentions having to cut away some of the skid.
As a note, the install instructions neglect to mention torque figures for...
If you've already added the weight and end up gaining 1/2" with the coil change, you're really just returning back to baseline since the weight likely caused some sag to begin with. Depends on the weight.
As such, there's no need to change bump stops or anything really.
People have added 2.5"...
Many have added Mojave X springs to their standard Mojaves to account for the weight they've added in bumpers and winches. All the reports I've seen have been very happy with the results, with at least one reporting gaining 1/2" in height.

I know it doesn't answer...
Hi again. Speaking of control arm mounts and lowered clearance, I notice you mention having geometry correction brackets in other threads. You seem to wheel pretty hard, I wonder what your thoughts are on damage to the brackets?
My general thoughts: They're lower, so more vulnerable. A little...
You're fighting with two of my longtime top choices, too.
RH makes heavy duty stuff. When you account for integrated winch mount and skid plate (removing stock plate weight), it might be the lightest option available. Assuming weight is accurate, since their winch recessed and non-recessed list...
Thanks. The MC lift is a strong step up from the AEV. In level of changes and cost. Glad you like it, and the AEV enough to have kept some of the parts.
I was thinking of going with Mojave/Rubicon X front springs if a bumper/winch mess with the suspension too much. Or some other aftermarket...
Wow, you went above and beyond, I appreciate that! Thanks for the pictures as it shows them better than on their site. Those rears certainly are rock magnets with the long wheelbase.
Maybe it's just the angle of the pics, but do the rears create a bit of a water bucket? A drain hole might be...
Thanks, that's good info! You installed early 2022, and still have good rear boots in 2026. And the front boots you noticed were going bad in 2023 are at least still operating.
I wonder why, you'd think they'd have the same supplier for both. Perhaps it's how the UV or road treats the fronts.
That's true, most of my wheeling is tame, and none of it is the true extreme. Which also means when I do get a chance, I'm not as skilled at keeping the rocks off.
I've been to Moab, likely going again this year, along with CO, AZ, etc. So there are at least occasional opportunities. The...
Thanks, that's the example I was looking for. You lifted and that's still the area you bash up, so priority hasn't changed.
Do you hit the the axle side lca and shock mounts too? If so, it could also indicate your wheeling environment is different than mine. Likely is, as most of mine is tame...
Thank you for the experienced input, that paints a different picture. I didn't feel my mount was in danger in its current condition, but it showed me how hard/often it gets it. And that perhaps future hits could be worse, or pinch it to where it was a problem. Protect now, avoid the regret.
But...
That was my original thought, especially based on where I hit. The mount isn't exactly a bolt-on replacement part I can find on the shelf. Anything is fixable, but you know what I mean. And these long bodies like to hit that spot, and I'm not convinced a lift will change that. New capability...
I was considering Rear LCA Frame Side skids after bending one on a rock. While reviewing I also saw skids for: Front LCA, Front LCA Frame Side, Rear LCA, and Rear Shock Mount.
I decided to take a look and see what I've been hitting most. After the main belly skids, the Rear LCA Frame Sides...
Looking good!
Thanks for the update and clarification. Similar install, but doesn't seem to have a marred up finish like the MP Concepts. Many say the MP marks up just from basic handling and shipping.
So under-winch spacers aren't needed (for Badlands) if skipping the bar, and also unhelpful...
Thanks. I figured as much. They were too identical to complicate manufacturing for different sellers. I suppose it's good for some rigidity, but may call for a little rust proofing.
Looks like you've got it installed now, or at least on you way. As such, could you comment on the below...
Wondering if anyone has bought the AEV Mojave lift in recent years and not had issues with degrading boots on the sway bar links? As there was certainly a rash of such reports in 2023 as seen below.
I have doubts because I saw at least one more report in another thread in Aug '25, saying his...
Ebay
Amazon
The images and included accessories suggest the ebay and Amazon versions are identical, yet you report different weights. Scale calibration, or a few extra parts on the scale maybe. Curiously though, raypla mentions a steel inner structure. @smlobx can you verify if your ebay...
