I think hard core mudding is best left to specialized buggies and not nice, newer vehicles.
Definitely poke around on YouTube. Likely, you will find a few channels you like. Be aware most are useless with guys just smoking, cursing and spewing conspiracy theories with occasional, useful...
Just got an email stating my Oracle Oculus headlights and fog lights have shipped. So, if you ordered those recently, they should be on their way soon.
Just got an email stating my Oracle Oculus headlights and fog lights are on their way. Yay!
I'll post a review and install pics since people seem to like that kind of thing. Since they shipped USPS, I don't expect to see them until next year.
I also prefer hard copy. But publishers just weren't selling enough hard copy to justify the printing. I was a subscriber of Mustang Monthly and had been reading that mag since the 1980s. It recently went belly up.
I do understand these things can take time. My only beef is Oracle didn't tell me the lights were on back order when I ordered them and then they said they would ship in a few days when they did not.
Are your Oculus headlights on back order? I ordered mine on 11/25 and they have still not shipped. I texted Oracle over a week ago and they assured me the headlights would be available, "In a few days".
And don't forget a nice tool box. Great tools are of little use if they're scattered about or throws into a big box.
Surprisingly, the big, wheeled tool boxes at Harbor Freight are pretty nice and modestly priced. I've also seen some excellent tool box deals at Costco.
Is there any hard evidence of such a beast? I ask because although I really like me some inline-6, I get the impression those engines are pretty much dead due to MPG constraints.
Well, we know thus far FCA won't be putting the V8 into the Gladiator. For the same reason the diesel Gladiator has such lackluster towing, FCA is afraid a V8 Gladiator would eat into RAM truck sales.
You can NEVER haver too many tools! Seriously, I've been expanding my tool set since 1983 and I still have to occasionally buy more tools. Here are my suggestions:
- I used to like Craftsman tools and still have many. But don't bother buying new Craftsman tools. They are now made overseas and...
Big yes for more onboard fuel! Jeep people tend to like old school stuff. And one old school thing that Jeep people would love is an EXTRA FUEL TANK! You know, like old trucks that had a switch on the dash for "PRIMARY/AUXILIARY" fuel tanks. Back then you needed two tanks because the truck got...
This isn't the case. The logic doesn't hold up if it's more than one part.
Automotive parts are sources from many locations to include China. Manufactures do this to keep prices down, to uphold contracts and to keep unions happy. FCA couldn't source every part in the US if they wanted to. Many...
I'm somewhat of an audio snob and I'm very happy with my factory system. The only shortcoming I noticed was it didn't have much presence of high notes. I installed Alpine two-way speakers in the dash and those tweeters made a BIG difference.
As mentioned, source media has a big affect on...
Glad to hear you got a positive response from the dealer. And thank you very much for following up. All too often we see posts about horrible workmanship/repairs and never find out what happened.
