I installed the Oracle Oculus recently and think mine are a little low as well.

A remote start install can be pretty complicated. I would suggest you have a shop install that. A lift is a little involved, but really no big deal. Just give yourself plenty of time to overcome any obstacles. Same with replacing a bumper. It's just removing and reinstalling bolts. But again...
