ill check them out thanks! We've recently had multiple threads on this issue. I started one of them. So, check the lighting forum.
You can buy the Jeep LED headlights from Mopar, but be prepared to drop $1,000 all in.
FYI, I ordered the Oracle Oculus headlights and fog lights for my Sport S with Max Towing. I just got them a couple of days ago and have not yet installed them.
What box did the halos have to wire to? I thought it was just to a fuse in the fuse box.
- The headlamps installation is plug-and-play; however, the halos are not. The kit comes with all the necessary wiring and instructions, but it is a bit involved: you need to run the wiring harness from the headlights, along the passenger-side fender, under the auxiliary battery and through the firewall, to a box behind the passenger kick panel. I took it to an audio shop; they took care of the install for $280.
You will definitely need to go through the firewall. What box did the halos have to wire to? I thought it was just to a fuse in the fuse box.
Thank you for your post. Very true DV8 has made plug n play. I just picked up the DV 8 LED headlights for my sport s gladiator. It also has halo issues when I activate driver side blinker passenger halo shuts off but it’s fine when I put on my passenger side blinker, both halos stay on. Called DV 8 and told them my concern. They told me to turn off the halo orange blinker because the DV8 are equipped for the Halo to turn orange and start blinking. I had never activated that feature from the start. If there’s anyone out there that knows what the problem may be that one halo shuts of when I put on my blinkers please advise me thank you. ?I replaced the halogens on my Sahara with the Mopar LEDs.
This was my experience:
Afterwards, I found these LED headlamps by DV8 Offroad: https://www.quadratec.com/p/dv8-offroad/led-headlight-pair-wrangler-jl-gladiator-jt They look identical to the Mopar headlamps but costs 1/3 less. Also, Quadratec claims these are true plug-and-play, unlike the Mopars that require all that additional installation.
- Got the LED headlamps from BAM Wholesale for $900, including shipping. It was the best price I found for a new set.

- You then need to activate the halos. You can have the dealer do a reflash for $100, or buy a Tazer Mini for $329. I did the latter because I want all the other features.
- Total for the Mopar LED headlights, with the installation and activation of the halos: $1,500
If I were to do it all over again, I'd skip the Mopars and get these instead.

I’ll second that request for help. I’m having the same issue with mine and the halos turning off with the driver blinker. I didn’t hook up the wiring for the orange halos either - still wrapped up in the headlight. Was coming to the forum to ask for this same help and found this thread, unfortunately with no solution / answers -yet?!? Thanks to anyone who may be able to help.Thank you for your post.
