  1. ⚡️ 2026 JEEP RECON Debut. 650 hp / 620 lb-ft, 0-60 in 3.6 sec, 250 miles range

I'm not usually one who's a fan of TFL, but I'm glad that they called out those other "influencers" for being utter nincompoops. Remember back in the good ol' days when journalists had integrity? Now all the event coverage comes from doofuses.
  2. P00AF - The Journey

Fantastic, thank you for the tip!
  3. ⚡️ 2026 JEEP RECON Debut. 650 hp / 620 lb-ft, 0-60 in 3.6 sec, 250 miles range

I enjoy my Chevy Bolt - it's a fantastic transportation appliance, really good at that job. By putting my commute miles on it, I've kept 30,000 miles of needless wear & tear off my Jeep, and also kept the Jeep from being stolen or stripped where I have to park it in the ghetto for work...
  4. P00AF - The Journey

In talking with the Polish eBay repair guy Peter, he shared the following information with me: 797862-0050 - is 6NW010099-24 797862-0072 - is 6NW010430-43 I haven't been able to find one available without also purchasing the entire turbo assembly, so I am awaiting him sourcing one for me.
  5. ⚡️ 2026 JEEP RECON Debut. 650 hp / 620 lb-ft, 0-60 in 3.6 sec, 250 miles range

You're 100% correct. It's the perfect engine for the Gladiator.
  6. ⚡️ 2026 JEEP RECON Debut. 650 hp / 620 lb-ft, 0-60 in 3.6 sec, 250 miles range

The "25 miles" of range that a Wrangler 4xe has is good for 2-3 miles of range off-road. So what I said earlier still stands. Range doesn't triple when offroad, even on an easy trail like this one; rather, it's an order of magnitude LESS than mixed on-road mileage. This aligns pretty much...
  7. Reaching out to the Gladiator family once again for advice.

What are you trying to accomplish? What sort of trails will you be taking your Jeep on? What's your budget?
  8. ⚡️ 2026 JEEP RECON Debut. 650 hp / 620 lb-ft, 0-60 in 3.6 sec, 250 miles range

Since nobody else mentioned it because we got distracted with drag racing and politics, I thought I'd remind everyone that off-road miles consume an order of magnitude more battery capacity than road miles. As short as the Rubicon Trail is, I would not want to take an EV on it until battery...
  9. Is it me... Are are these backwards

Porsche caught universal flak when their early Tiptronic transmissions had the shifter going the wrong direction. It didn't take long for them to correct it, and the world has been happy since. There's a right way and a wrong way. Jeep does it the right way. Simple as that. If you disagree...
  10. Is it me... Are are these backwards

The "Autostick" transmission in the Jeep is correct: forward to go slower (downshift) and back to go faster (upshift). This is how race cars are (reverse manual valve bodies, Lenkos, sequential shifters, etc.), and motorcycles are (pull back (up) on your foot to upshift, push forward (down) to...
  11. Veteran's Thought: Which Truck Would You Choose Besides Jeep Gladiator?

Not according to Ram's website, they don't. The HEMI is the only engine available for the Power Wagon. They do not offer the Cummins as an available selection.
  12. Veteran's Thought: Which Truck Would You Choose Besides Jeep Gladiator?

The factory doesn't build them like that, unfortunately. But people certainly build Power Wagon-like 2500's with the Cummins.
  13. Veteran's Thought: Which Truck Would You Choose Besides Jeep Gladiator?

The only other trucks I would consider buying are the 2024+ Chevy Colorado ZR2 Bison / GMC Canyon AT4X AEV or a Power Wagon. And here's a big shout-out to our veterans! 🙏
  14. DIY Bed Rack

I also think it looks great. You ought to put it together as a kit to sell!
  15. Helpin the 3.0 breath

I like it! But I'd never have the balls to take a hole saw to my hood. 😨
  16. Any one running Nitto Recon Grappler 37x11.50R17

I wish that more tire manufacturers would release their tires in this size!
  17. Rear Locker disconnect sensor failure and fix in 4 hours.

I just had mine replaced under warranty. The tech got it fixed on sensor 4 out of the 5 he had to try. I wonder why there are 5 different sensors and no way to identify which one you need without trial and error.
  18. Towing a camper! Rear suspension beefed up?

I've had Airlift 1000's for 3 years and tow a 19 foot travel trailer with the truck's bed loaded down with camping gear. The airbags are awesome - no affect when riding empty, but all the support needed when loaded down. Dirt cheap and easy to install, zero problems.
  19. Opinions on lift kits for 2021 JT willys

If you're just going to drive it on the street, then a spacer kit is all you need. If you're going to actually be off-roading it, then your best bet will be MetalCloak.
  20. P00AF - The Journey

Jeez, you've had quite a bad stroke of luck with your turbo. Keep us updated on the repairs. Thanks a lot for all your information and advice.
