Yeah for $300 to have it done (and the repair warrantied)… Probably makes sense to have the dealer do it. I’m like you and prefer to do my own work whenever possible, but pride aside…. You’re dealing with HVAC which can be tricky (I personally won’t touch it). For $300 delta I’d let them do it. ?
I think we need to know cost to recharge the system assuming you did your own work and got the parts yourself (rock auto for the win). Whatever that delta is should be low enough that it just makes sense to have them do it. For me, anything less than $200 would be. No brainer. $200-$300 would be...
