Not at all. What you don’t want to do is over tighten them which you can do. Put some blue thread locker on the threads and tighten until there is no wiggle and they work smoothly and you’ll be fine.

Thanks, my second set and they mounted easy with zero play on the first unit for 3 years so it was easy to pick the same unit and it did not disappoint.

I had the same ones in red in my last Gladiator and got a lot of compliments on them so I figure hey WTH 👍 neither one had a problem with the light switch one, turns fine but like you I set them to Auto and never touch them so not an issue.
