Phone/GoPro/GPS Mount

I didn't want to lose the dash tray and I don't like anything blocking the windshield so I went with a mount that attaches behind the passenger grab bar. A side benefit is that in hot weather you can blow the A/C vent directly on the phone to keep it from overheating. The quality of the mount I got wasn't that great so I reinforced it and altered it, but the basic bracket that sandwiches behind the grab bar is OK. I may buy a copy of the bicycle mount I use in my plane and attach it to the existing bracket.

That was my preferred mounting location (I like the one that doubles as a cup holder), but it doesn't work on 2024 and up JL/JTs due to the redesigned dash for the larger screen size.

Closest thing I've found is the Bulletpoint grab bar mount for the '24+ Jeeps. It comes in their 20mm ball or the 1" ball that allows me to still use my Ram mounts.

The grab bar mount is by Bulletpoint. The arm and phone mount attached to it are Ram Mounts. I used the 1" B ball version for compatibility with the Ram mount stuff, but it also comes in a 20mm ball version, which is what all the rest of the Bulletpoint components use, as well as some other companies.

I'm trying to figure out how I want to mount my phone, GPS and GoPro in my 26 Mojave. I use Ram Mounts on my motorcycles, so have quite a few arms, ball mounts etc. I like the idea of the Bulletpoint, Trackform etc, but I don't want anything blocking the screen or high up in the window. How do the top of dash mounts work? Is there a piece that comes off to access screw holes?
Let me know what's out there, because all of my "car" mounts don't work very well in the Jeep.

Another vote of confidence on Bulletpoint. I've been using them for years and they are tough to beat! Their new Picatinny based system for the new Gladiators is just superb!!!

I have Bullitpoint. I use it to mount my phone, GoPro, and my iPad (when needed). Solid build, but it is fairly expensive.
