Consumer Reports is total garbage, regardless if they nail or praise Jeep. Their survey sampling methodology would fail a Market Research 101 class.

You won't notice make much difference. I have 35-inch tires on my Wrangler Sahara. The 8-speed compensates nicely. If you recalibrate your speedometer for larger tires with a programmer, it will adjust the transmission's shift points.
