If I wanted to mount several things, I'd go with Anvil Overland.
Right now I'm running Carolina Metal Masters in strategic locations plus a Velenti Designs iPad mount. Working great for me and I appreciate the uncluttered dash.
I sold a 2015 4Runner Trail and bought a 21 Rubicon Diesel. I get 22mpg city and 27/28 highway.
I liked the 4Runner, but my diesel is more fun to drive. 4Runner was pokey.
I ran into a similar issue with my Costco battery where they only listed one AGM battery for the gas engine. It turns out it was a better battery than the original Mopar battery anyway. The guy at Costco said they are both V6 engines so I would be good to go. So far so good.
Yep. I'm in DFW and everyday is a coordinated mastery of don't hit the people in front of you in stop and go traffic.
I'm at 28k miles and already thinking about brake pads.
I saw that EBC has a new "Red Stuff" compound. I can't find it for sale anywhere yet, but EBC is the route I'm going too. The stock brakes feel way too soft for me.
Yes you're probably right, but at least Lexus offers me a cappacino and tells me pretty lies to make me feel good. I can even get my shoes shined while I'm getting lied to. I guess I want my sh1t served on a silver platter instead of in a bucket.
Yep, that's exactly what they did. When I asked about the main battery I was told it tested fine. We all know the right solution, but the dealers are cutting corners everywhere they can.
I had a bad experience just yesterday myself. I took my JTRD in to a local dealer because my batteries are going bad. This was going to be my 2nd Aux battery replacement in 6 months.
I got the full run around. They did a code scan and said everything looks fine. I was told the equivalent of...
I love the look. I would do it too if I didn't need that extra bed space. I've been thinking about their camper shell version. I wish it came in white.
I recently had a dealer offer me 6k over KBB with moderate mods installed. I have a Softopper, Bedslide, grill and A pillar lights, Hellwig sway bar, level kit, and a couple interior knick knacks. It was more than enough to cover the money I had spent.
I'd sell the Alucab and put the seat back...
The Ready Lift is definitely not built for comfort. You could try Sumo springs front and rear and see if that helps before taking the plunge on a suspension.
Next swap out whatever shocks you have for Bilstein 5100s with the appropriate length.
You know what they say though, "Buy once, cry...
The new full float rear axle is a big component to the increased towing. The air flow definitely helps, but it won't increase capacity for us. I am hoping more airflow helps us diesel owners achieve reliability under load though.
This might be a must to do item for diesels.
I have the Valenti mount installed. Have yet to use it for its intended purpose. They sell it at a very reasonable price compared to many other accessories. There's no Jeep tax on it yet so I thought why not.
It's spray painted by hand with Rustoleum. They didn't do a very good job. I plan to...
There are several videos on YouTube of people using thermal and radiant barrier type insulation with their soft toppers. I was considering using the silver bubble insulation myself. It should work great. Helps in the winter if you're camping back there too. I drive in safari mode 99% of the time...
